COPY AND CONTRACT AGREEMENT
The Topeka Capital-Journal reserves the right to cancel this contract upon thirty days written notice to the advertiser. In the event the contract is cancelled by The Topeka
Capital-Journal the advertiser shall retain all discounts received during the term the contract remained in force. The advertiser, likewise, has the right to cancel the contract
upon thirty days written notice by surrendering all discounts already received under the terms of the contract.

Associations may sign advertising contracts for advertising placed and paid for by the association, for advertising of a general nature benefiting all members of the
association, or those members participating in a promotional event.

Upon advance written approval, member advertising for specified promotions may be charged to the association under the terms of the association contract. Individual
advertisers may opt to have their advertising billed under their contract.

All advertisers are required to submit in writing notification of using an agency of record. Letters should be sent to The Topeka Capital-Journal Controller. All contracts must
be signed by the Advertiser not the representative of the agency otherwise The Topeka Capital-Journal at its option may not consider them a binding agreement.

In the event of error by The Topeka Capital-Journal, or failure to deliver, The Topeka Capital-Journal, will be liable only to the extent of the price of the advertisement and will
not be responsible for more than none incorrect insertion. Any request for adjustment on billing that may be open to question must be made within the 30 days in writing to
Controller: 616 S.E. Jefferson, Topeka, Kansas 66607.

TERMS OF PAYMENT
When monthly credit is granted to an advertiser, the account is due and payable on receipt of monthly billing and becomes delinquent after the 25th. A delinquent account
may be closed and the contract terminated. Advertising placed during the contract period will be charged at non-contract rates.

The ultimate responsibility for payment for advertising remains with the advertiser even though the advertiser uses an agency and has paid that agency for advertising
placed for the advertiser.

The Capital-Journal reserves the right to change, with 30 days notice, the rates, rules and regulations as set forth in the rate book. Any changes or additions covered by
letter or printed notice will be considered supplementary to this rate book upon issuance of such letters or notices.

POLICY
Alteration Charges: Advertisements will be set to follow the copy and style of layout as closely as possible. Excessive changes on proofs from original copy submitted or
advertisements set and cancelled will be charged at prevailing rates. Cancellation deadlines will be the same as the placement deadlines.

Errors: The Topeka Capital-Journal will not assume responsibility for typographical errors. If The Topeka Capital-Journal is at fault, we will reprint or credit that portion of
the advertisement in which the error occurred.

Guaranteed Position: Position requests will be honored whenever possible at regular rates. Space or monetary credits will not be issued for unfulfilled position requests.
Guaranteed ad positioning, if available, at prevailing rates plus 35 percent. Not available Sunday.

Reuse of Ad: It is agreed by the parties under contract that the consideration paid hereunder is for the use of the advertising space in The Topeka Capital-Journal; and
that, with the exception of art furnished to The Topeka Capital-Journal by the Advertiser, all advertising layouts, copy work and art work, which constitute instruments of
service and remain at all times the exclusive property of The Topeka Capital-Journal. Any re-use, reproduction or re-publication of any such advertisement, for any purpose
whatsoever, by the Advertiser, or by any person or party acting for the benefit of, on behalf of, or with the permission of the Advertiser, without the consent and approval of
The Topeka Capital-Journal, shall be considered a violation of the terms of the advertising contract agreement.

Billing: All display advertising space, other than cash-with-order advertising, published in The Topeka Capital-Journal will be billed each month.

Ads Simulating News : Advertisements simulating news must be marked “Paid Advertisement” at top and bottom of ad.

Measured: Advertisements measured to the next nearest one-fourth inch.

Cancellation: The Topeka Capital-Journal has the right to refuse or cancel any advertisement at any time.

Tax: Should any Government body levy a tax on any advertising covered by this rate card, such tax will become an additional charge to the Advertiser, over and above the
rates mentioned herein.

Authorization: Sales representatives of The Topeka Capital-Journal are not authorized to make any deviations from these published rates and regulations, either orally or
in writing.

Confidentiality: All advertising, without exception, is confidential until published.

Within the Law: The Topeka Capital-Journal will not knowingly accept any advertising that is in violation of the law.

Right to Edit: The Topeka Capital-Journal reserves the right to edit or reject any copy deemed objectionable either in subject matter, phraseology or illustration, and to
restrict all advertisements to their proper classifications.

Proof to Permit: Anyone placing transient business advertising for people to work in travel situations will be required to provide proof of their Kansas or
