Pre-orientation test
We are pleased to send you two forms of pre-orientation tests. Form I is for former IBLV students, and form II is for freshers. You are kindly requested to read both but fill in only the appropriate form. We will process the information you provide for the organization of the placement test.However, both former students of the IBLV who did not carry on with their Arabic studies on their own and the freshers will not have to take a placement test.

I- Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) : Different sub-levels exist within the same level. 1. 1st Level : 5 sub-levels (alif, ba, jim, dal and ha). Pedagogical Materials: Manual of Modern Standard Arabic(1) , copybook, work copybook , audio CD and DVD (pictures). Tick the level which corresponds to the number of hours of Arabic already done at any other institute. 0 hour = alif 50 hours = ba 100 hours = jim 150 hours = dal 200 hours = ha 2. 2nd Level : 2 sub-levels ( 2nd level and advanced 2nd level). Pedagogical materials : Manual of Modern Standard Arabic(2) and authentic written documents, audio and audiovisual. Tick the level which corresponds to the number of hours of Arabic already done at any other institute. 250 hours = 2nd level 300 hours = 2nd advanced level 3. 3rd Level : 2 sub-levels (3rd level and advanced 3rd level). Pedagogical materials: Manual of Modern Standard Arabic(3) and authentic written documents, audio et audiovisual. Tick the level which corresponds to the number of hours of Arabic already done at any other institute. 350 hours = 3rd level 400 hours = 3rd advanced level 4. 4th level : One level. Pedagogical materials: Manual of Modern Standard Arabic(4) and authentic written documents, audio and audiovisual. Course for fluency : varied pedagogical materials.
