              Fiji Island Facts
   Fiji is located in Koro.
   It has 806 acres of land.
   Fiji is located in the south pacific, 3,000
   There are not a lot of people on Koro Island.
   If you were stranded on Koro Island you might survive.
          Stranded on Fiji Island
   On the way to visit Fiji island, our ship crashed,
    but we made ashore with no supplies.
   When you get stranded on a Island the first
    thing you need to do is find shelter, food, and
    water, these are the most important things you
    need to survive.
       Once you land on your
       island you need to find
           Food & Water!
   You can find food in the ocean or in the forests if there is one.
   You can make a spear from wood witch you would use to kill
    fish for food. You need string to make a good spear, what you
    would do is take a stick and sharpen it until you have a nice point
    to. Then you can go out and fish for food
   Be careful there could be sharks or jellyfish. jellyfish would make
    your foot swell up if you happen to step on one.
   You can find water in a stream or a waterfall. If there is know
    water on he island you can find water from coconuts or the rain.
    coconuts are helpful because they have coconut milk.
   To get a coconut you would need to find a coconut tree you
    would have to clime it use you thighs to clime if you have a shirt
    you would rap it around the rep to help you clime better
Do you know how to build a
         shelter?
   To build a shelter you need wood, leaves, and string . You
    can make string from wood, all you need is a knife to shave
    the wood. Then you tie it together. If you do not have a
    knife you can make one out of wood or animal bones. One
    way to make a shelter is to have two sticks, put them into
    the ground and take to smaller sticks and do the same.
Do you know how to make a fire?
   One other thing you would need is a fire . You can make a
    fire from rubbing wood, twigs or leaves together. To start
    the fire you can either rub two things of wood together, or
    you can get a thin stick and a big one. You twist the thin
    stick until you see smoke . Once you do you have to get
    some flammable twigs and dead leafs you gather all the
    smoke and dust in to the dead leafs then you wont to blow
    on it to get the fire started once that is done you put the fire
    in to the wood you have collected . Once you can your fire
    to need to collect more wood to keep your fire going if you
    don’t the fire will go out and you would have to do it all
    over again . To make a signal you need to do the same
    routine I have told you about but you need to put green
    leafs on top of the mood so black smoke will appear .
