In a state of "total war," the major participants placed their
entire economic, industrial, and scientific capabilities at the
service of the war effort, erasing the distinction between
                civilian and military resources.

Marked by significant events involving the mass death of
civilians, including the Holocaust and the only use of nuclear
weapons in warfare, it was the deadliest conflict in human
history, resulting in 50 million to over 70 million fatalities.
                 Allies

    • the leaders of the British Empire,
• the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics,
    • and the United States of America,

Known as the “Big Three”, held leadership
          of the allied powers.

•China
•Greece

World War II was different from other wars

1. Total War: Fought by armies, navies and people at
                        home
    2. Global War: Fought over most of the world
         3. Made use of scientific discoveries

Weapons: Rockets/Radar/Guided missiles/Magnetic
             mines/Atomic bomb
  Medical: Blood plasma/Penicillin/Sulfa drugs
Results of WWII
Axis collapsed and Allies won the war. At the end of World War
II the Allies were left with the decision of creating post-war
policies. They did not want to recreate the treaties of the past
which lead to the wars afterward.

Germany and Japan gave unconditional surrender, leaving the
Allies in the full control of their futures. After the defeat of the
Nazis, most countries returned to their pre-war governments,
such as Belgium, Holland, Denmark, and Norway. However,
Germany, France, and Italy were left in political ruin. Communist
support rose in France and Italy.
                    Death Loss

Most suggest that some 60 million people died in the
war, including about 20 million soldiers and 40 million
civilian. Many civilians died because of
disease, starvation, massacres, bombing and deliberate
                        genocide.
The Soviet Union lost around 27 million people during
the war, almost half of all World War II deaths. One of
every four Soviet citizens was killed or wounded in that
                           war.

               End Of British Empire

British Empire was the super power before WWII, but
after the War British people lost their power due the
cleverness of USA and USSR and economic destruction
they faced in the war times, this destruction took them
into the valley of Stone Age because they had to
decolonize all those areas which they colonized during
          their Strong and dominant regime…..
US emerged as Super Power

States obliterated two Japanese cities
with a new weapon of enormous
destructive potential: the atomic
bomb, the US abandoned its former
isolationist reticence to assume the
leading role in shaping the NEW
WORLD ORDER.

                        Conclusion
After summing up all the results, effects and Impacts of WWII, I
came to understand that 1 thing was done for the betterment of
the whole World was that nuclear deterrence, especially after the
               attack on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
The worst thing which is the result of every war is the penalty of
casualties, every human being has to suffer and some has to
                       suffer for a long time,
Last but not least, the peace treaties, though they are not entirely
implemented but at least peace and threat from war impacts
lessened for at least a long spell…..

May God bless the souls of those who Lost their precious lives
                   in WWII…. Ameen!!!
