How to Change Website Banners
This pictorial explains how to change banners in websites that start with www.csp.edu. Pictorial Map All text in bold font are clickable actions labeled exactly as shown in Collage. This tutorial will have numbered items with the action that is needed. Instead of saying, “3. Click the OK button” this pictorial will say, “3. OK” where the bold text is to indicate an action that may be taken on an icon or linked text. How to change the banner 1. Navigate to the webpage you want to change the banner on 2. Click the icon of the New Document (or webpage) as circled below
3. This is a shortcut to the Metadata window. (shown below) Note: The Metadata window is also accessible when editing a page by choosing the Metadata button located at the top of a page.
4. Click the Banner metadata drop down list and choose either Dept or Banner
Do you want a flash banner or a customized department photos to appear? Choose one of the following options: a. For the rotating flash banner choose the Banner option b. For the customized department photos to appear choose the Dept option 5. OK 6. Approve the changes if you want them to go live. Automatically all changes go live the following day.
