Instructions for Computer Vocabulary & Kanji Invader assignments on PC Go to the start menu → All Programs → Course Software → Liberal Arts → FLL → JPNS Click on Nakama Wait about 2 minutes for setup A window pops up, telling you that the setup is complete. Click “Close” to end the setup A new window pops up. For the computer vocabulary assignment, click on “VKC”. The default setting is Nakama 1. Click on the title “Nakama 1” and hold it. Now you can choose “Nakama 2” Choose e.g. both Chapter 01-1 and Chapter 01-2 Click on “Go to vocab quiz”. Enter your name and student number (10-digit PUID) Click on “Proceed to quiz” Choose “Non-voice quiz” Whenever you are ready, click on “Get Score” Click “Print this page” Turn it in to your instructor For the Kanji Invader assignment, click on “Kanji Invader”. Select e.g. “Nakama 2 01 ” Choose “Typing” Save the city and complete the task To print the result: 1. Hold the Alt key down and press the Print Screen key on your keyboard. (Next to F12 key) This allows you to capture only the active window on the screen. 2. Open Microsoft Paint (Start Menu → All Programs → Accessories → Paint). 3. Go to the Edit menu and choose Paste. 4. Go to the File menu and choose Page Setup 5. Choose “Landscape” and “Fit to 1 by 1” 6. Go to the File menu and choose “Print Preview”, if it looks ok, then print *Be sure to write your name and turn it in to your instructor
