Dear XXX
I am writing to ask for your help in improving the service provided to people called for jury
service.
Ipsos MORI are conducting this survey on behalf of Her Majesty’s Court Service to help courts
understand what people think about the service they have received. We’d like to hear about your
experience of being called for jury service. It doesn’t matter if you sat on any trials or not, it is
important that we hear everybody’s views
All the information we collect will be kept in the strictest confidence and used for research
purposes only. This questionnaire does not ask you anything specific to any cases you sat on,
we just want to know what you think about the service in general and the way you have been
treated. It will not be possible to identify any particular individual or address in the results.
If you have any questions or concerns about this survey please do not hesitate to contact Billie
Lever Taylor at Ipsos MORI on 0207 347 3956 or e-mail billie.levertaylor@ipsos-mori.com.
I very much hope you will be able to take part and feel sure that you will find it interesting.
Thank you very much for your help in advance. Please return the completed questionnaire in
the pre-paid envelope provided with this questionnaire as soon as possible or by XXX at the
latest. No stamp is required.
Yours sincerely,
Ashley Ames
