Revamped stop-discrimination website now online

The EU campaign "For Diversity. Against Discrimination." presents itself in a fresh, new look on The relaunch offers a revamped layout, easy navigation and
optimized information. The online portal provides in-depth information on anti-discrimination
issues in the European Union.

The European Commission's website on anti-discrimination now features the new campaign design
showing a young girl gazing in fascination at the rich variety and diversity of fish in the sea underlining
the campaign's motto "Diversity is a gift of life!" At the same time, the menu structure has been
optimised to ensure usability and ease of navigation despite the ever growing volume of information
provided on the online portal. Available in all 20 official EU languages, the website supplies detailed
information about current activities of the EU campaign "For Diversity. Against Discrimination."
informing internet visitors about their specific rights and obligations under EU and national anti-
discrimination legislation. The user will find more than 1000 documents including current reports,
surveys, press releases, photos and films dealing with issues of diversity and discrimination to download.

Moreover, to take account of country-specific differences, 25 separate national websites additionally
provide users with up-to-date local news on what is happening in their country. At the same time,
potential victims of discrimination may find contact details of more than 190 local organisations offering
help including public authorities, trade unions, employers' associations and non-government
organisations which support the EU-wide campaign to promote diversity.

In line with the campaign's motto, the stop-discrimination website conforms to WAI (Web Accessible
Internet) rules specifying barrier-free access to internet websites as to guarantee equal access to
information to everybody.
