User Login for Registered Users -
SARA Web address is - https://www.accessfss.com. We recommend you bookmark
the site for future use.


    1)   Click in the e-Mail: text box.
    2)   Type in your e-Mail address and press the Tab key.
    3)   In the Password: text box, type your password.
    4)   Click the Go button

Successful Login

If SARA recognizes your user e-Mail address and password, SARA will close the
login page and display the Home Page, indicating you are properly logged into
the system.

Unsuccessful Login

If SARA does not recognize your registered e-Mail address or password, it will
report the following error message:

ERROR: e-Mail address and Password you have entered is invalid.
Click the reset password button, input your e-mail address, and click the
'get password' button.
A new temporary password will be mailed to you within 1-2 minutes.

Change your Password-
You may change your password at any time,

    1) Click the „Change your Password?‟ link on the Login page.
    2) A page will display, prompting you to enter your e-Mail address, current
       Password, New Password and Verify New Password
    3) Your new password should be 8 characters in length. New strong
       password rules require 3 different types of characters in your password –
       choose from uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and special
       characters (#$%&) when creating your password, for example: Ctadnu1%.
    4) If your password change is successful, SARA will close the login page
       and display the Home Page, indicating you are properly logged into the
       system.
    5) If your password change is unsuccessful, a page or dialog box will display
       one the following messages
       a) e-Mail address and Password you have entered is invalid.
       b) The verify ’‘New Password’ field should match the ’New password’ field.

Reset your Password-
If you forget your password,

   1) Click the „Reset your Password?‟ link on the Login page.
   2) A page will display the following information,
      Type your e-mail address in the box below. Your password will be
      sent to your registered e-mail address.
   3) As instructed you will type your registered e-mail address in the text box
      and click Reset Password button.
   4) A page will display the following information,
      Your password has been sent to your registered e-mail address.
   5) As stated you will promptly receive an e-Mail reply in your mailbox, with
      your new temporary password.
   6) Upon receipt you will go back to the Login page and follow the login
      process using the temporary password that you just received. The
      temporary password must be typed exactly as given (upper or lowercase
      characters).
   7) A page will display, the system will prompt you to change your temporary
      password. It should be 8 characters in length, New strong password rules
      require 3 different types of characters in your password – choose from
      uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and special characters
      (#$%&) when creating your password, for example: Ctadnu1%.
   8) SARA will close the Login page and display the Home Page, indicating
      you are properly logged into the system.

Register as New User -
   1) To register, you must provide/type your First Name, Middle Initial, Last
      Name, and e-Mail address in the text boxes.
   2) You will also need to type your business Internet e-Mail address exactly
      as it appears in your Company Address Book. For example:
      „john.l.doe@companyname.com‟ in the text box.
   3) READ the User Responsibility Statements, if you choose to continue, click
      the I Agree button.

Note: Your registered e-Mail address will be your SARA Logon ID.

Successful Registration

If your registration is successful, the following message will appear:

  Your request has been successfully submitted and password has been
                 sent to your registered e-Mail address.
                 Please login above to use the system.


Unsuccessful Registration

If you have previously registered to SARA, the following message will appear:

ERROR: Your e-Mail address already exists! Please choose another or use
the ' Reset your Password' option to reset your password.

The Home page provides you, the data user, the ability to perform the following
tasks:

          a) Create a request upon selection of a Mainframe System/Web
             Application option.
          b) Terminate/Delete Termination of Access is now performed via GM
             Off boarding procedures. SARA requests are no longer used for
             this function.
          c) Research the status of an existing request by going to the Find
             Request Status text box and typing in the request control number.

Process Requests
Create Request

To create a request,

   1) On the Home Page, click the pull down box arrow and select the desired
      request form from the Mainframe Systems or Web Applications options.
   2) Click the Go button (right side of form), the corresponding form will open
      for you. Read all the text to accurately complete the form.
   3) Upon clicking the “I Agree” button, your requisition is submitted and begins
      the approval process.
   4) A asterisk (*) next to a text box indicate the field as required to fill in the
      information. If you bypass a required field/text box and select the I Agree
      button, you will receive a dialog box indicating that you must fill in data for

      each text box you did not complete. Your request form will not proceed for
      approval until your form is complete.
   5) To review specific field information required for each request form, go
      back to the Form Input Instructions section of this Help Page.

Assign Approver

   1) You the requestor will assign the approver of your request at the
      Approver's Information, Approver‟s e-Mail text box.
   2) You must fill in the business e-Mail address (for example:
      „john.l.doe@companyname.com‟) of your Supervisor/Manager. This text
      box is located at the end of the request form.
   3) Upon clicking the “I Agree” button, your requisition is submitted and begins
      the approval process.

Resend Request to Approver

You may resend a request to your selected Approver/Site Approver if, the
approver cannot locate the original e-Mail they received when you first assigned
their e-Mail address to the request.

   1) Log into the SARA Application (see User Login for Registered Users)
   2) Enter the request Control Number in the Find Request Status box
      (located on the upper left side of the Home page). Your request Control
      Number maybe found on the e-Mail you received, after you initially
      completed your Mainframe or Web request. Or we will assist you, contact
      us at eagfsssecurity@gm.com
   3) Review the accuracy of the Approver‟s e-Mail address, then click
      „Update‟. Your original request form will be delivered or resent to the
      selected Approver‟s e-Mail address box.
   4) You will receive the following message in confirmation to your selection.

              e-Mail address has been successfully updated.

Successful Request

After the request is submitted, SARA will display the following notification:

       Request submitted. Your request control number and confirmation
       will be delivered to your e-mail address

You the requestor will receive the following e-Mail notification along with a
request control number. Please retain this number as a reference to check on
the status of your request.

       You have received this message because a request for system
       access was submitted.

Simultaneously, SARA workflow sends your request form to your selected
approvers (Supervisor/Manager) e-Mail address box.

Unsuccessful Request

Please note that if you type the incorrect e-Mail address, your request will not be
forwarded for approval. Your selected Approver (Supervisor/Manager) will not
receive your request in their e-Mail address box.
You will need to identify the correct e-Mail address and change the Approver‟s e-
Mail address. Go to Change Approver e-Mail Address section of this Help
Page for this information.

Manager Approval/Assign Site Approver

   1) You the Manager/Supervisor will assign the Site Approver of the request
   you received from your employee. To approve the request you will assign the
   Site Approver at the Approver's Information, Authorized Site Approver
   Approver‟s e-Mail text box.
   2) You must fill in the business e-Mail address of the appropriate Site
   Approver for your Organization. This text box is located at the end of the
   request form.
   3) Upon clicking the “Approve” button, the requisition is submitted to the Site
   Approver you indicated and the next phase of approval processing begins.
   4) To locate the appropriate Site Approver for your Organization,
   GM employees will go to the Home Page and click the „Site Approver List‟ link
   located at the top of the page to download this information.

   Successful Approval/Site Approver Assignment

After the Site Approver‟s e-Mail address has been entered in the text box and
approved, SARA will display the following notification:

       Request has been successfully processed.

The assigned Site Approver will receive the following e-Mail notification.

       You have received a request for system access where the requester
       has identified you as the authorized approver.
       Please click the link below to view and review the request.

The Site Approver will now perform their review of this request for Approval or
Disapproval.



Unsuccessful Approval/Site Approver Assignment

A) Please note that if you type the incorrect e-Mail address, your request will not
be forwarded for Approval. Your selected Site Approver will not receive your
request in their e-Mail address box.
You will need to identify the correct e-Mail address and change the Site
Approver‟s e-Mail address. Go to Change Approver e-Mail Address section of
this Help Page for this information.


B) If the Site Approver you selected is not the appropriate Approver for your
Organization, the SARA System‟s Administrator has the authorization to
disapprove this request for processing.
If the requestor still requires the access he will have to submit a new SARA
request on the website.
To identify the correct Site Approver for your organization, see the Home Page
link „Site Approver List‟ or the SARA Help feature/FAQ‟s.

Change Approver e-Mail Address

If an incorrect Approver e-Mail address is entered, or if a different approver is
required, the requestor can change the address by,

   5) Logging into the SARA Application (see User Login for Registered Users)

   6) Enter the request Control Number in the Find Request Status box
      (located on the upper left side of the Home page). Your request Control
      Number maybe found on the e-Mail you received, after you initially
      completed your Mainframe or Web request.
   7) Input the correct Approver‟s e-Mail address, then click „Update‟. Your
      original request form will be delivered to your newly selected Approver‟s e-
      Mail address box, (new e-Mail address must be valid for successful
      delivery)
   8) You will receive the following message in confirmation to your selection
      change.
             e-Mail address has been successfully updated.

Please note if the original approver attempts to approve the request after the Site
Approver has been changed, he will receive the following message.

             You are not the authorized approver for this request.

Edit Cancel or Delete Requests

Edit before submission: You the requestor have three options to edit your
request form before you submit your request for approval.


To edit data within a field you may back space and change the data or highlight
and delete the data within the field and begin to retype in the field.
To cancel the request (prior to submission) you may scroll to the end of the page
and click the “Reset” button. This also enables you to begin the task of
completing your form again.

1) To edit data within a request
   a) You may back space and re-type your information to change the data
      within the fields.
   b) Next, you will continue to complete the request form.
   c) Upon clicking the “I Agree” button, your requisition is submitted and begins
      the approval process.

2) To edit data within a request
   a) You may highlight and delete the data within the field and re-type your
      information to change the data within the fields.
   b) Next, you will continue to complete the request form.
   c) Upon clicking the “I Agree” button, your requisition is submitted and begins
      the approval process.
   d)

3) To edit a request
   a) You may scroll to the end of the form and click the “Reset” button.
   b) A dialog box will appear, Are you sure you want to reset this? If you click
      OK this action will clear all the information from each field that you
      previously typed. If you click cancel, all of your information within the form
      will remain in tack.
   c) Next, you will continue to complete the request form.
   d) Upon clicking the “I Agree” button, your requisition is submitted and begins
      the approval process.

Edit after submission: You the requestor also have the option to edit your
request after you submit your request for approval.

4) To edit data within a request
   a) Log into SARA, Go to User Pending Request (found on first page of your
      initial login or on the Home page).
   b) Find the appropriate control number of your request and select the edit
      link.
   c) The system will open the document you may change the data in the
      proper field(s).
   d) Upon clicking the “I Agree” button, your requisition is submitted and begins
      the approval process again, the approver will see the newly changed
      request.

Edit after submission: The designated approver has the option to edit a
request prior to his/her approval.

5) To edit data within a request
   a) Log into SARA, Go to Approver Pending Request (found on first page of
      your initial login or on the Home page).
   b) Find the appropriate control number of your request and select the control
      number link.
   c) The system will open the document you may change the data in the
      proper field(s).
   d) Upon clicking the “Approve” button, the newly changed requisition is
      submitted to the next approver.

Cancel before submission You the requestor have two options to cancel your
request.

6) To cancel your request
   a) You may only cancel a request if it is done prior to submitting for approval.
   b) You may scroll to the end of the form and click the “Return to SARA Home
      Page” link. This action will cancel your request and take you to the Home
      Page. This also enables you to begin the task of selecting and completing
      your form again.

7) To cancel your request
   a) You may only cancel a request if it is done prior to submitting for approval.
   b) You may click the “Logout” button at the top of the form. This action will
      cancel your request and take you to the Login/Registration page.

Delete after submission You the requestor have the option to delete your
request.

8) Log into SARA, Go to User Pending Request (found on first page of your
   initial login or on the Home page). Find the appropriate request control
   number and select the delete link. This request number will no longer be
   available for processing. (If the delete link is not available, contact the
   approver you designated, to disapprove the request. This action will now
   make the link available for you to delete).

Approving and Routing Request

Approvers Role and Responsibility

      Authorized Manager/Supervisor Approver
      Review information on Systems Access Request sent by your employee is
      accurate. Determine if access is necessary and appropriate for the
      requestor‟s current assignment. Verify no conflict of duties exists between
      other systems user already has.

      Authorized GM Owner/Site Approver
      Authorizes the Authority of the Authorized Manager/Supervisor
      To review the „Site Approver List‟ go to the SARA Home page and click
      the link at the top of the page.

      Authorized IPT/Work Group Approver - ACS FSSA Southfield Only
      Review information on Systems Access Request sent by your employee is
      accurate. Determine if access is necessary and appropriate for the
      requestor‟s current assignment.

      Authorized System Administrator - ACS FSSA Southfield Only
      Authorizes the Authority of the Authorized Manager/Supervisor


All Approvers must be registered on the SARA website first, before you can
approve any request forms that have been sent to your e-Mail address box.
If you are a first time user/approver please go back to the Register as New User
section of this Help Page to review the registration process.

After you have successfully registered and received your password you will now
have the ability to perform the approval process and/or login to the website when
needed. Also, see User Login for Registered Users.

Opening Requests for Approval

Authorized Approvers have three options to open any request that has been
sent to them for approval.

1) Review your e-Mail address box for each letter, Sent by: eagfsssecurity
   Subject: SARA Approval Request Notification - Read the notification and
   click the link within the document. This will take you to the SARA website
   login page.
       a. Log into the SARA Application (see User Login for Registered Users)
       b. The request that was sent to you for approval will open for you review.

2) Go to your Internet page and access website - https://www.accessfss.com
      a. Log into the SARA Application (see User Login for Registered Users)
      b. The Approver Pending Request page will display, each item that was
           sent to you for approval
        c. Click the desired Control No., this will open the request for your review.

3)   If you are already in the SARA web application, you may go to the Home
     Page
        a. On the left side of the Home Page, under Pending Request,
           Click/select Approver Requests
        b. The Approver Pending Request page will display, each item that was
           sent to you for approval
        c. Click/select the Control No.; this will open the request for your review.

Approving Requests


To Approve Requests as an Authorized Manager/Supervisor Approver you
will,

1) Enter the e-Mail address of the appropriate Authorized GM System Owner/Site
Approver for your Department or Division. (To locate your departmental/divisional
Site Approver, GM users go to the Home Page and down load the Site Approver
List. Delphi users will find their Site Approver listed in the FAQ‟s of this Help
document).

2) Read the „Manager Responsibility Statement‟; Click the‟ Approve‟ button at the
bottom of the form.

3) The document is now routed to Authorized GM System Owner/Site Approver
e-Mail address for their Approval.



To Approve Requests as an Authorized GM System Owner/Site Approver you
will,

1) Read the „Site Approver Responsibility Statement‟.

2) Click the‟ Approve‟ button at the bottom of the form. You will receive the
following message in confirmation to your selection.

              Request has been successfully processed.

3) The document is now routed to FSSSecurity System Administration for
processing.

Disapproving Requests

To Disapprove Requests as an Authorized Approver in any capacity you will,

1) If for any reason you disagree with the Access Request Form that has been
routed to you for approval. You have the responsibility and authority to
disapprove the request.

2) Read the „Site Approver Responsibility Statement‟

3) Click the‟ Disapprove‟ button at the bottom of the form. You will receive the
following message in confirmation to your selection.

   Note: There is no option for you to record your reason for denial. An
   automatic e-mail will be sent to the requestor as stated below.

       Request has been denied and email confirmation has been sent to
       requestor.


Upload List to Request Form

To upload a LIST to your SARA request you will,

1) Create a document (Word or Excel) listing the items of data information you
require.

2) Name and save the document to your hard drive.

3) Within the SARA request form click the browse button. Find the document
you saved and select/highlight it. The file name will then populate the field for the
appropriate approvers and /or administrators to review.

Upload CITRIX form to Request form

To upload a FORM to your SARA request you will,

1) Open Citrix attachment,        - GM HR Citrix ID and Share Request Form

2) Complete the form with the required information, name and save the
document to your hard drive.

3) Within the SARA request form you are filling out, click the browse button. Find
the document you saved and select/highlight it. The file name will then populate
the field in your SARA request form for the appropriate approvers and /or
administrators to review.

Check Request Status
You may review the status of your submitted request by going to SARA’s Home
Page section

1) Note the Find Request Status: text box.

2) Type the request control number in the field provided and click "Find."

3) The “Request Control Number” document will open and list the workflow
details and/or status information of the request.

Site Approver Functions

                         Access Certification
A web page has been established to provide you with a list of users and their
access privileges, that you need to review and validate during the semi-annual
certification process.
The instruction to access the site and complete the validation is as follows:

INSTRUCTIONS:
   1. Login to SARA Web Site, https://www.accessfss.com/. This is the GFSS
      Web Site where access to GFSS system privileges were requested and
      approved. GFSS Accounting Services e- applications access is approved
      via the fssledger@gm.com mailbox.
      If you have not used the website a temporary password has been sent to
      you in a separate e-mail. If you already are a valid user of the website,
      you may continue to use your current password to log on.
   2. Click the “Access Certification” link in the SARA Home Page under the
      caption Site Approver Functions to view the access control validation
      page.
   3. Go to Access Validation Column for each user. Select „Yes, Retain
      Access' in the drop down box if the user has an ongoing need for access.
      Otherwise, select 'Not Needed, Remove Access' if the user no longer
      needs access.
   4. To review details of the ENTERPRISE SoD SBT/Function column, you
      may select the FSS Home link on the SARA Home page. The URL is
      http://comptroller.gm.com/fss/content/seq_GIAM_SoD_rulebook.xls the SBT
      Descriptions tab will aid in your assessment of any low to critical screen
      access conditions that may exist.
   5. You may click the “Save and Finish Later" button to save and complete
      the certification at a later time. Filters are available to assist the review
      and to limit views of the page. The views available are as follows:
      Only Users Selected For Retention – Lists users where access was
      deemed appropriate and to be retained.
      Only Users Selected For Deletion – Lists users where access is to be
      removed
      Only Users Not Selected Yet – Lists users pending review and validation.
      Click the “Commit My Selection” when your review is complete. The
      system prompts you confirm your commitment, no changes can be made
      after the confirmation of action is selected or pushed. Please make sure
      you confirm your commitment, otherwise the request will remain pending
      under your Access Certification link.

Logout
To exit any SARA page you will select the Logout link at the top of the page.


Logoff

To exit the SARA website, either click Home ICON of your web browser above
the URL address or click the X in the upper right corner of the web browser.


SARA Administrator
The SARA System Administrator processes your access requests through the
GRS Request System.

If you have questions or comments, please utilize the WRITE US feature located
on SARA’s Home Page.

What are the new features on the SARA website?
You now have the ability to perform the semi-annual certification process on the
website. This audit validation consists of users with GFSS – Global Financial
Shared Services system access.

What systems are certified in SARA for the GFSS semi-annual review?
ay validate users with access to the following systems, Bars/Coldstorage,
NVBARS,SSS, HPS, SPS, Paybase, GMTKS-SAL, RTDB, CMBS, e-DACOR,
DACOR, GEP, OCRS, eARMS, eARMSg, eFAST, eLEDGER, eSchedules,
eSTS and AR Statements.

How do I perform the validation?
If you are a valid approver you will be notified during each review cycle, typically
in the Spring and Fall. The notice will include details on this process. You may
click the Access Certification link on the contents page of this „Help‟ document for
additional information.

How long do I have to complete my certification?
The validation period is typically 2 weeks after receiving your initial notice. You
may be allowed an extension of 1 week to complete your review. You will be
notified of any extension with the final due date to confirm your validations. If
your certification review is not fully and completely confirmed at the close of the
review period, the access for individuals in your review will be removed.

What do I do if I have users under my authorization and they are not on my
certification review, or users that do not belong on my review?
Please contact us at eagfsssecurity@gm.com we will examine your data to
determine the appropriate course of action.

What is the Specials Miscellaneous Section?
This section includes 5 request forms, ONCRS-Cash Receipt System, SSS-
Sales Support System and GM On-Line Access. An All Purpose form for various
access request also a system request form designed specifically for our Global
Initiative customers.

What if a new employee has a pending e-Mail address and has to submit a
SARA request?
In the Specials Miscellaneous Section you will find the „All Purpose Form for
Mgrs & Admins Only‟, this form should be used by the Manager/Supervisor of the
new employee to request the employees initial access request.

Who would select the Global Initiative (Manger & Admin) Form?
This form should be utilized by our Global Initiative customer base (i.e. Asia
Pacific). The Manager/Supervisor will select this form to initiate a request for a
new employee within their organization.

What is the Pending Request Option?
This option may indicate User Pending Request or Approver Pending Request.
In either circumstance, if there are any pending request intended for you as a
user or approver the page will display upon your initial login to the SARA
application. You may review and resolve this list of any requests that you have
submitted as a user or any request submitted by someone else with you as a
designated approver. You may also select the Pending Request link from the
Home Page.

What is the User Request Option?
On the Home page this option link is for you the user to review a listing of any
requests that you have submitted to gain system access and is still pending. You
may resolve by contacting your approver to proceed with processing. In addition
to re-submitting or deleting any request that has been rejected by an approver.

What is the Approver Request Option?
On the Home page this option link is for you the approver to review a listing of
any requests that have been submitted to your e-Mail address for approval. As
the designated approver you may select a pending item, review it and approve or
disapprove your selection. You may review the „Approving and Routing Request‟
section in this Help feature.

What if I have a request pending in SARA?
Usually, a request is pending because it is awaiting approval. It may be the
approval of your Manager or the Site Approver. If the Manager you selected has
not completed the approval process you may notify he/she to perform this task in
SARA (an active ID or registration is required).
If the request is pending because of the Site Approver, you may review the Site
Approval listing to check if the correct Site Approver (for your location) was
selected to approve the request.
Information to resend a request to the Approver or change an Approvers e-Mail
address may be found in this Help feature. If you have any questions or require
assistance in this process, please contact us at eagfsssecurity@gm.com

What is the Add More Lines button user for?
This feature is used when you require additional line items to be added in the
section you are completing (ex. 4 TSO dataset line items versus 1).

What is a Site Approver?
In support of Sarbanes Oxley requirements, a Site Approver has been
designated for your location and serves as the approver for access to any GFSS-
owned systems. In addition, the site approver will, on a semi-annual basis,
provide confirmation of user‟s access for the GFSS System‟s access certification.

Where can I find my Site Approver?
GM employee Site Approvers see the SARA Home page, you will find a row of
LINKS, such as HOME and LOG OUT. The SITE APPROVER LIST link is
located on this same row at the top of the page to download this information.

What if my Site Approver changes?
If the Site Approver transfers or retires from a specific unit or organization, we
should be notified at eagfsssecurity@gm.com. We will send a designation form
to their replacement. You may also use this e-Mail address to request a Site
Approver designation form.

As a designated Approver, if I receive a request for approval and disagree
with the request what should I do?
 Review the „Disapproving Request‟ section of the SARA Help feature. You may
also want to contact the Requestor to discuss your concerns. In the event a
change of information is required on the request form, you have two options.
   1) Disapprove the document and notify the requestor to edit/make the
       appropriate changes then, resubmit the request again for your approval.
   2) You the approver may follow the „Edit after submission‟ process found on
       this Help feature if you would like to make changes prior to your approval.


What recourse do I have if a Manager or Site Approver disapproves my
request?
You may first want to contact the Approver to find out why they did not approve
your request. In the event a change of the information is required in your request
form, you the requestor may follow the „Edit after submission‟ process found on
this Help feature.


What happens if I do not have a business Internet e-Mail address?
You will not be able to register to SARA’s website, please contact your
Supervisor or Manager.

May I continue to send requests to the EAGFSSSecurity mailbox?
All requests should be submitted via the SARA application. The EAG mailbox
will be used for correspondence.

How do I change my password?
Please note the „Change your Password‟ and the Reset your Password” link on
SARA’s Login Page. The instructions are also documented in this Help page
please see this information in the link/table above.

What is the availability of this website?
The web site is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week except for off-hour
maintenance.

After my request is submitted who grants the access?
General Motors Corporation ISP&P guidelines stipulate that, system access is
granted on a need to know basis.
Upon receipt of the designated Site Approver‟s authorization, the SARA System
Administrator will determine if the access is appropriate or not.

How many requests may I submit?
SARA is structured for each user to submit your own request. You may submit
one request for yourself only, to each FSS system/web application required by
your current job assignment. GM Managers/Supervisors may submit one
request at a time for their employees. Note the Special Miscellaneous section.

When can I expect a response to my request?
SARA will forward you a reply upon receipt of your initial request. The normal
processing time frame for completion is 5 to 7 business days.



How do I delete a request I created in SARA?
You have the option to cancel you request before submission and or delete your
request if you have already submitted for approval. Please note the „Edit Cancel
or Delete Request‟ section in the Help feature.

What is an Access Code?
Every user with an EDSNET ID has an Access Code. It is used to bill your
departmental account for usage to the mainframe systems you access. This
information is required and may be obtained by contacting your local IT
Administrator or your IT CAC – Customer Assistance Center Mainframe group.

What is a UID String?
Every user with an EDSNET ID has a UID String. It is the code that defines the
configuration of your EDSNET ID. This information is required and may be

What is my Group Code?
There are a few options that classify as a group code please note the following or
see your Supervisor/Manager or Finance Manager for this information.

Who adds the mainframe application to my menu?
Your local GM/Delphi System Administrator must add any Mainframe application
that you require to your menu before you submit a system access request to
SARA.

If I transfer to a new Department may I continue to use my FSS system
access?
No, you must re-submit all requests via SARA to gain access to FSS systems
required in your new assignment.


How do I upload a List or Citrix Form?
The instructions are documented in this Help page please see this information in
the link/table of contents above.

Where can I get dataset name information?
You must know the name of any data files to which you require access. You may
contact your Supervisor for this information and/or utilize the WRITE US feature
located on SARA’s Home Page.

What if my location already has 2 Payroll Paybase users, how do I remove
or change one of the users?
The maximum number of users with access to Paybase per location is 2. If a
location has 2 users and a new user should be added, the previous user
performing the function must first submit a delete request to the
eagfsssecurity@gm.com mailbox.

What if the Paybase user has left the organization and we want to replace
them, who will submit the request?
The immediate Supervisor will submit the request. They must indicate under
Business Justification (Business Purpose) a clear statement indicating that the
user has left the organization and whom they will be replaced by.

Can I have both HPS and SPS access?
If your organization‟s, Comptroller or Director agrees that the access is
consistent with the employee's job function and the access maintains employee's
segregation of duties, the access may be granted.



May I select multiple selling sources for the BARS system?
Yes, hold the CTRL key while making your selections, click your mouse. The
items you highlight will be assigned upon processing your request.

How do I obtain access to the GEP website?
The user must first be sponsored in the GPLD/GMID system. ACS employee‟s
contact their Quality Assurance Representative (Phillip Knighton - Disbursements
or Susan Recker - Payroll) assigned to your department. GM employee‟s contact
their Supervisor.
Upon completion of the GMID, the access to the Global EFT Process may be
requested via SARA’s EDSNET Activity Employee request form for your
department, i.e. Disbursements, Payroll.

How do I obtain access to the GEPARA website?
GEPARA is the website replacing GEP in the near future for Disbursements and
Payroll. Dealer Accounting currently uses the GEPARA website – Global EFT
Process and Remittance Advice.
The user must first be sponsored in the GPLD/GMID system. ACS employee‟s
contact their Quality Assurance Representative (Mike Nicolin) for Dealer
Accounting. GM employee‟s contact their Supervisor.
Upon completion of the GMID, the access to the Global EFT Process may be
requested via SARA’s EDSNET Activity Employee request form for your
department, i.e. Dealer Accounting.

What is Super User Privilege for e-Dacor?
This privilege is not required to complete an e-DACOR access form. You should
complete this section only if your job title is listed in the drop down selection.

Where can I get EOS report/form name information?
You must know the name of the online reports to which you require access. You
