Check to see if they offer the symposium rate of $109.00. Inquire about hotel
transportation to and from campus since on-campus parking is severely restricted.

Parking: Cornell University restricts parking to designated areas. If you need or plan to
drive on campus, it would be an advantage to contact Cornell Transportation’s Website at
http://cuinfo.cornell.edu/Ithaca/Travel.html and Cornell’s
http://www.transportation.cornell.edu/tms/cms/parking/ for general travel and parking
information. In any event make sure you stop at the traffic booths and follow their
guidance as to where to park legally. You will receive a ticket and be towed if you violate
their parking rules.

Other Transportation Accommodation and Information:
http://sds.cornell.edu/Other_Accommodations/Transportation.html

Dining: The Statler Hotel offers guests excellent dining at Banfi’s upstairs. Collegetown
restaurants and cafes are within walking distance of the Cornell’s central campus and
especially the Statler Hotel. All cater to the eating and drinking needs of our varied Cornell
University family and are generally of good quality.
Ithaca area restaurants and cafes offer finer dining establishments (read more expensive).
They are in surrounding areas such as Cayuga Heights, Community Corners, downtown
Ithaca and the Ithaca Commons, or even along NY RT 13. If you are adventuresome and
energetic you can walk downhill to the Commons and to downtown. The problem is
walking back. It is up a very steep hill, San Francisco style!
