You'll notice more exciting HD gear with the introduction of the ZEISS DIGIPRIMES® to Australia as well as other new tools for video origination such as the P+S Digital 35 Adaptor for using 35mm prime lenses on 2/3" video, giving you the advantage of 35mm depth-of-field. Our new quieter AATON 35III camera makes 35mm sound film acquisition faster and more economical with its in-built AatonCode. Other new kits include the new Dedolight Aspheric 2 and the new little PANASONIC progressive scan MiniDV camcorder. Not included in this update are the brand new Digital Radio Microphones from Zaxcom, which will be available for rent by the time you read this. Simply put, the Aaton 35-III is the lightest, low-profile professional sync sound 35mm camera in the industry. The 35-III offers the same sophisticated features found in Aaton's 16mm production cameras with absolutely no compromise whatsoever to comfort or handholdability. The new ARRI 435ES 35mm motion picture camera was developed to meet the most demanding requirements of today's production methods. A comprehensive range of accessories and interfaces enables the 435ES camera to be integrated into a large variety of applications. Its reflex mirror can be electronically adjusted continuously from 11.2° to 180° while the camera is running or locked mechanically at fixed stops. The Pro-35 Digital Image Converter allows broadcast videographers and digital filmmakers to attach any Arri PL mounted prime 35mm film lens to their high definition (HD) or standard definition (SD) 2/3” video camera to obtain the three-dimensional quality of a 35mm film camera on videotape. With this convergent device, a 2/3” video camera can capture the same depth of field, focal length and angle of view as 35mm film. No longer restricted by a limited number of video lens options, a 2/3” video camera operator can now get creative with hundreds of lens choices that, up to now, were exclusively in th realm of 35mm filmmakers. By offering the three dimensional quality of film, the Pro-35 Digital Adaptor dramatically expands the look, definition and potential use of both HD and SD 2/3” format video.

How It Works
The Pro-35 Digital projects the 16x22mm image produced by a 35mm lens onto a specially designed, eccentrically moving ground glass. This image is then relayed to the 2/3 inch sensor of the electronic camera on a reduced scale while maintaining depth-of-focus and angle-ofview.
