Title: Senior Web Designer
Projects: Numerous Web sites on, Intel WebOutfitter Service, HR intranet sites,
interactive tutorials and produced, shot and edited numerous videos for Web and kiosk

Designed and created rapid prototypes, presented concepts to senior management,
conducted usability tests, designed and authored Flash animations, interactives, games and
tutorials. Create illustrations and graphics, author html code, QA and deploy to production.
Videotape interviews, edit and encode video for Web delivery. Trained and mentored junior
developers on content management system and style guide and Intel processes and
procedures. Research new technology and leverage as appropriate. Received numerous
awards of excellence and achievement for my design work at Intel.

Project: Intel® WebOutfitter (SM) Service
Responsible for the front end of a high-profile, rich media Web site that had over a million
members and was localized into 14 languages. Responsible for site maintenance and
creation and update and launch of multimedia assets. Attended content development
meetings with Creative Director, agency producers and back-end application developers,
localization teams and country managers. Was the Central Publishing Team Leader
overseeing the end of life of the Intel WebOutfitter Web sites. Supervised two contract
programmers. Site consisted of over 200 flash movies and thousands of html pages. Was a
contractor on the project for 18 months and was offered a permanent position when my
contract expired.

Extensive experience developing content for HR Employee Communications designing and
coding Intranet sites and numerous multimedia/interactive and video portal products for Intel’s
80,000+ employees. Received many Intel awards including a Global Staffing Excellence
Award for creating an outstanding Corporate People Movement intranet site, several
Employee Communication Achievement Awards for outstanding work such as “in recognition
of your outstanding contribution developing an innovative and globally comprehensive WW

Portland Community College - Winter 2001 to Winter 2002 (part time - evenings)
Title: Instructor
Course: Creating Quality Vector Graphics and Animation for the World Wide Web

Taught multimedia students Flash 5 animation techniques for the Web using Flash 5.
Authored curriculum, course handouts, demos and source files as teaching aids. Taught intro
to intermediate level Actionscript and best known methods of flash authoring to approximately
100 students. Five week course. Was invited to teach after appearing on a local television
show discussing Web development and Flash animation.

As owner of this small business my responsibilities included marketing, client interaction,
needs assessment, strategic positioning, graphic design, animation, concept presentation,
coding, search engine listing and site maintenance and accounting. Designed and coded
approximately 30 commercial Web sites, GUIs and product demos for small and large
businesses. Clients included Seagate Technology, Tektronix, ADC Kentrox, Praegitzer
Industries, Consonus, Backyard Bird Shop, Samson Sports and many other retail businesses.

Art Director/Graphic Designer
Created large format, full color designs illustrations, posters, premium apparel including tyvek
jackets, t-shirts and marketing materials for corporate promotions and major sporting events
including major marathons. Prepared digital files for high-resolution image setting and offset
printing and attended press checks. Designed and set up over 300 digital files for film output,
large format, 4-color jobs. Clients included Federal Express, NBA, major marathons, Hewlett

Conferences & Community Service
Organized two high-tech career conferences, one for Portland Community College and the
Women at Intel Network Conference hosted by Intel. Designed the conference multimedia,
web site and all collateral. Also spoke at one of the conferences. Served on the Beaverton
Arts Commission Board for three years and also as their President. Assisted with fundraising
and event planning. Also produced, taped and edited their PSAs and special events which I
aired on local cable television. Also have lectured on Web Design and Multimedia
Development at the Beaverton City Library and local colleges.

Video production
 Produced, taped and edited Intel’s History of Computing kiosk video for an exhibit entitled
   “From Slide Rule to Pentium 4” which traveled around the world and premiered at the
   grand re-opening of the Washington County Museum.
 Created educational video for the Washington County Museum for a fundraiser held at
   Nike to help raise funds for the million-dollar museum expansion.
 Taped and aired a one hour special featuring the Beaverton Chamber Symphony Concert
   on public television.
 Taped and aired aired a one hour video about Transracial Families which was broadcast
   on cable TV.
 Taped, edited and broadcast on cable TV numerous concerts, performances and public
   service announcements for the Beaverton Arts Commission while I was President of their
   organization to help promote their value to the community.

Personal Interests

Enjoy keeping up with design trends, international travel and videography. Gardening,
