 MOBILE THRILLERS 1st ANNUAL INVITATIONAL

                        Tournament Rules and Information
                                             2009
1. USFA rules will apply. All teams must be insured and USFA sanctioned. Copies of birth
certificates must be available for inspection. Team managers or representatives are to check
in at least thirty minutes prior to the start of their first game.

2. All pool games will be seven innings or 75-minute time limit (drop dead). Bracket play games
will be 75 minutes and the Championship games will be seven innings or 1:30 minutes. An
eight run rule after five innings, ten run rule after four innings and 12 runs after 3 will apply
in all games. Teams must be ready to play 15 minutes prior to game time.

3. Umpires will allow pitchers five pitches or 2 minutes between innings (whichever is less).
Teams should hurry on and off the field to ensure pitcher/catcher warm-ups. It is imperative
that any post-game team meetings not take place until the dugout is cleared and cleaned, and
the field is vacated. Likewise, teams should be ready to occupy the dugout and be prepared to
     start play.

4. Home team will be official scorekeeper. Home team will be decided by coin toss prior to each
     game in pool play.

5. Each team must supply one (new or like new) .47 COR ball per game.

6. Protest fee is $75 and is refundable only if the protest is upheld by the Tournament Director.

7. Tournament directors reserve the right to re-schedule games or delay start times of games if
     conditions warrant.

8. Gate Fees will be $6 per day or $10 for Weekend Pass. All players and three coaches per team
will be admitted free of charge.

9. During pool play, a game tied after seven innings or after the completion of an inning and
stopped due to time limit, will end in a tie. Ties in tournament games will be decided by using
the international tie breaker (after time limit or in eighth inning). There is 1:30 minute time
limit for the Championship games. The “IF” game will be a 2 inning shoot-out. Each team will
turn in a new lineup and will begin with the last player in your lineup on 2 nd base. If still tied
after 2 innings a third inning will be played with runners starting on 2 nd and third.

10. Seeding will be determined by blind draw at team check-in
11. Individual awards for first and runner-up place teams in each age division!
12. Rain-Out policy:
        a. Total Refund if all games are cancelled
        b. 50% refund if one game is played
        c. 25% refund if 2 games are played
        d. If at least 3 games are played, no refunds will be issued
        e. Weather number 251-583-7587
