					Banner “How To” Student System — Entering Assessment Test Scores

    1.   At Direct Access, enter SOATEST
         Press Enter.
         This takes you to the Test Score
         Information Form.


    2.   Enter the Student ID number




    3.   Press CTRL-PAGE DOWN to go to
         the Test Scores block.

         At the Test field, enter the
         appropriate code. If you are uncertain
         of the code, press F9 to access the
         List of Values. Scroll to the correct
         code and select.

         Note: Codes are arranged
         alphabetically by test code (not
         necessarily by test name.)

         (Use ATBA for the Ability to Benefit
         code.)

         The Description will be entered
         automatically and the cursor will
         move to the Score field.


    4.      Enter the Test score.

            (For ATBA, enter 00).

            Note: The RCRV field applies
            only to ACT and SAT scores.
            Tab past this field unless you
            are entering ACT or SAT scores.

            Enter the Date Taken.


            Enter the Type code. (Press F9 to
            view the list of values if you are
            uncertain of the code.)

            Note: The code for English and
            Math Assessment is CE, CM, and
            CW for Cuyahoga Community
            College testing.
            CE = taken at East
            CM = taken at Metro
            CW = taken at West

            Tab past the Request field. (This
            code will be entered automatically
            if this is an admissions checklist
            item.
            Example:
            0106 = English Placement
            0215 = Math Placement)

            Any other link will be filled in as
            appropriate.


    5.      You will need to scroll with the
            horizontal scroll bar to complete
            the other fields.


    6.      Enter the Source code.                     If not known, press F9 to view the list of values.
                                                       Note: The code for English and Math Assessment taken at Tri-C is
                                                       currently LRNC for CCC/Learning Center Test.

    7.      Enter the Purpose code.                    Press F9 to view list of codes if not known.
                                                       Note: The code for Eng and Math Assessment is
                                                       IP (Initial placement)
                                                       The code for Ability to Benefit Test is
                                                       AB (Financial Aid Eligibility)

    8.      Enter the Form code if applicable          Press F9 in the Form field to view the list of values.

    13.     Additional note:
            To Delete a Test score:
            After entering a new or updated
            test score, highlight the test field of
            the score to be deleted. Go to the
            menu, and select Record, Remove.
