Capt. Patterson resigned as Director of
Centre for Marine Simulation (CMS) at the
Marine Institute to take up a position as CEO

                                                     1200hrs on Thursday April 17, 2008 in the
                                                     Industry Seminar Room at the Marine
                                                     Institute. The topic of the paper by the
                                                     students was “Manning Practices in the
                                                     Marine Industry: Are They Safe and
                                                     Adequate?”

                                                      The CMMC NL Division held the annual
                                                      mentoring Programme BBQ on September
                                                      18, 2008 at the Marine Institute. As usual it
                                                      was a very successful BBQ. There were 22
                                                      students and 10 members. Capt. Patterson,
                                                      the Divisional Master gave a short speech
                                                      and introduced the Company members to the
                                                      students. After this informal discussions took

   Remembrance Day Ceremony
November 10, 2008 the CMMC NL DIV                                 Christmas Dinner
