The Italo Australian offers a range of rooms that cater from 17 to 500 people depending on your individual

We offer two restaurants that can cater for any event.

Trattoria Italia has an extensive range of Italian cuisine. Their menu includes such favorites as lasagna,
cannelloni or traditional Italian pizza’s. For any information on their menus and package information call:

Tim’s Chinese Restaurant offers a traditional Chinese menu full of flavor and tastes of the orient. For any

Function Rooms
The function rooms available for hire are:

Damiano Hall

Large Ball Room with stage, bar, dance floor (dependant on configuration). Seats up to 400 guests for
banquet (based on round tables of 10) , 500 theatre style or for cocktails.

$1000.00 per night, flat rate inc GST this cost also includes staff of up to 4, setup, linen, microphone, lecturn
etc. (This will depend on your individual needs).

Board Room 1

Formal Board Room seating up to 17 delegates.

$165.00 per day, inc GST

Board Room 2

Board Room seating up to 10 delegates.

$100.00 per day, inc GST

Cultural Centre

Function Room seating up to 100 guest’s theatre style, 70 for banquet and 100 for cocktails.

$175.00 per day, inc GST

Any other requirements for the hiring of the rooms such as catering, decorations, additional staff or
entertainment will be charged according to the requirements of the booking.

The Italo Australian Club offer Candelabras and balloons at an additional cost. If you require these items the
Function Manager can discuss the finer details with you once the function has been booked.

The Italo Australian Club do offer white chair covers at an additional cost of $4.00 per chair.

Decorations of the rooms for hire can also be done by other companies or yourself. If this is what you are
after just discuss with the Functions Manager so we can ensure that your requirements are met.

Bar & Alcohol Service
For weddings and functions that include bar service we can organise tray service for your guests if necessary.
We have an extensive beverage list including wines, spirits and beer. The Italo Australian Club can organise
bar tabs that will suit your individual costs and the purchasing of wines in bulk is available to cater for each
table on your special evening.

Conferences and meetings can be catered with a tea and coffee station. Day conferences can be organised to
include Freshly brewed coffee all day, morning tea and fresh orange juice, lunch and afternoon tea. For any

The Italo Australian Club strives to ensure that any function within our club is organised to your
requirements and needs. Our professional staff will ensure that every detail is met and that you and your
guests receive high quality food and beverage service throughout your function.

                         Conference, Entertainment, Banqueting Terms & Conditions
TENTATIVE BOOKING: A deposit of $400.00 plus a signed copy of the terms & conditions is required within 14
days of placing initial booking to secure the respective function date. For any functions where the final account totals,
less than $400.00, the value of the required room rate is necessary to secure the booking. The Italo Australian Club
reserves the right to cancel booking if confirmation is not received.

PRICES: Prices will remain fixed for three (3) months after the booking agreement has been made. Beyond that period
of time The Italo Australian Club reserves the right to change the prices and will advise clients accordingly.

CANCELLATION: If a function is cancelled within 14 working days, the respective room charge still applies, within 7
working days of that function, the respective room charge and 50 % of the overall associated food and beverage costs
still apply. A minimum of six weeks notice is required for the cancellation of a Saturday function. Failure to notify
within the stated period will result in the loss of the function deposit. Written confirmation of cancellations are required
for all functions.

SURCHARGES: Please note a surcharge of 15% will be applied to the finalised food and beverage account for
functions held on a Public Holidays. An additional $300.00 will be charged for each hour or part thereof that a function
continues after midnight.

FINAL NUMBERS: The guaranteed number of guests must be finalised at least three (3) working days before the
function, if less than the granted number of guests attend the function, the granted number will be charged on the
invoice. If the number of guests increases the client will then be charged the extra.

FINAL DETAILS: Table floor plan and settings cannot be changed after 11:00am on the day of the function.

DAMAGES: Clients are liable for any damages and above normal cleaning costs which may occur as a result of the
function. The cost of any damages will be charges on the function invoice. The Italo Australian Club holds no
responsibility for items brought by clients or other patrons.

PAYMENT: Full pre payment of the function food component is required three (3) working days prior tot the
commencement of the function. Full settlement of the account is required with in seven (7) days of the function, unless
prior arrangements have been made.

SERVICE STANDARDS: The Italo Australian Club practices the responsible service of alcohol. Management reserves
the right to refuse service of alcohol to intoxicated patrons.

ROOM HIRE: A room hire charge will apply to the function. Please see attached for details.

ENTERTAINMENT: Any form of entertainment being used on the club’s premises must have prior approval of the
Functions Manager.

COMMENCEMENT & VACATING ROOMS: The client agrees to commence and conclude the function at the
scheduled times. If the function exceeds the booking times, additional charges will apply.

DELIVERIES: The Italo Australian Club must be advised of all deliveries and pick ups prior to their arrival and
collection. Collection times must be within the Club operating hours or by prior arrangement.

SECURITY: The Italo Australian Club reserves the right to hire security staff at the client’s expense if deemed
necessary, subject to providing written notice to the client as to the reasons for the decision.

CONSUMPTION: No food or liquor of any description may be brought onto the premise of The Italo Australian Club
without prior arrangement with the Functions Manager.
