                  NAPABA ANNOUNCES 2008-2009 COMMITTEE CHAIRS

Washington, D.C. – The National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) is pleased to
announce the 2008-2009 Co-Chairs for NAPABA’s Committees. Many of these Co-Chairs are
returning to contribute their vast experience from having served as a NAPABA Committee Co-Chair
previously. Others are joining as first-time Co-Chairs, diversifying and broadening NAPABA’s
leadership. NAPABA launched two new Committees this year, the Criminal Law Committee and the
Mentoring Committee. NAPABA members have expressed significant interest in both new
Committees, which have already begun implementing their missions. Committee meetings and
receptions were held at the NAPABA Annual Convention on November 19-23 in Seattle, WA, to
encourage participation and plan Committee projects for the upcoming bar year. More information
about NAPABA’s committees can be found on the NAPABA website at
Congratulations to NAPABA’s Committee Co-Chairs for 2008-2009!
