Dear Colleagues,
Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Center is hosting the 29th Annual

Convention of Indian Association of Cancer Research (IACR) from 20-23 February 2010. On
behalf of the entire organizing committee, I welcome you to attend the conference and enjoy our
hospitality. This will also be an occasion to feel the splendour and grandeur of Kerala and
especially Kochi.
We have arranged a strong programme highlighting both scientific and clinical aspects of
cancer research. In addition to eminent scientists and clinicians from India, we have invited
experts from abroad to join us in the conference. Please encourage your graduate students and
post doctoral fellows to submit abstracts for the meeting as soon as possible.
The corporate section which supports research in the form of equipment and consumables will
also be present during the meeting.
Moreover, you will also taste the richness of Kerala culture which has always made it unique in
India.
I invite you all to attend the conference and make your stay in God’s own country memorable. I
look forward to meeting you in February 2010.
