Transportation and Transfers
   5. Do I have to book the flights myself?
Our preferred Airline is Aer Lingus and they have offered special event rates
which are currently available to clients of Solheim Cup Travel. These rates will
not go on general sales until October 2010 but you can register now as soon as
you have booked your place on one of our packages.

   6. How do I go about booking the flights?
A dedicated phone line has been set up which will handle all your airline
inquiries. This number is in the US and is 516-622-4066. The airline agents will
advise you on all available dates and fares.

   7. Do I have to book the flights before I book the package?
No, you should book the land package before booking the flight. The flight
offers are suggestions to offer you the most economical trip, but if you prefer
to use another airline or want to use air miles or points, please feel free to use
these directly with the airline of your choice. The process for booking airfare
with Aer Lingus is to book the package and then the airfare, you can call for a
quote on the air before booking the package but your package confirmation
must be in place before you can confirm the air ticket.

8. Are the special airfares restricted to New York (JFK), Chicago, Boston
     or Orlando?
Yes. These are the Aer Lingus gateways, so we are asking you to make your
way to one of these airports for connection to Aer Lingus.

9. Do we have to arrange our own transportation to and from the
     airport?
Airport transfers will be available from the airport in the morning and afternoon
at 2 hours intervals but these will not cover every possible arrival time. A full
timetable of transfers will be announced nearer the time. Taxi fares to Dublin
city are approximately 20 EUROS or 30 Dollars (USD).

10. What kind of transportation options would be available?
We will offer luxury coach transportation throughout the event.

11. Do the packages include transportation to and from the event?
Yes. All of our packages feature coach transfers to and from the event on each
    day.

It is 25 miles (40kms) from Dublin to Killeen Castle. We expect this to take
around 45minutes during the competition days.

transfer the land package to their name. Any changes to airfare will depend on

  16. Can I pay for the trip in dollars?
All of our trips are quoted in Euros as that is the local currency which hotels,
golf clubs and transportation companies will accept. We have converted into
U.S. dollars for your convenience, to give you an idea of the value in you
currency. Exchange rates change all the time and since the time we put
together our packages the rate has gone from the advertised 1EURO = 1.5
Dollars to 1EURO = 1.4 Dollars, so the price in dollars has already lowered and
you will pay less than the advertised rate at present.

For payment we will charge you in Euros or at the dollar exchange rate at the
time of the booking. At the moment, the U.S. dollar is at a 9 month high
against the Euro so this is a good time to pay. By June 2011, when the
deposits are due, the rate will have changed again, this may be in your favor or
against you, there is no way to be sure. If you see a good rate between now
and June 2011 and wish to pay the balance early, then we are happy to
       accommodate you.

  17. What are the cancellation terms?
Cancellation terms appear at the time of booking the package but for your
      convenience are laid out below.

We strongly advise that each person take out adequate travel insurance at the
time of booking. This is essential to cover fees lost in the event of cancellation,
as well as medical care and baggage protection. For more information, we
suggest that you call Warren Peterson at TravelersMed.com (toll free) at 1-800-

conditions as laid out by the airline.
