5.   FINANCIAL BOARD RESOLUTIONS:

             __________________________          I move to approve the Resolutions (5A)

             __________________________          through (5H) as hereinafter described:

            A.    Ratification/Approval of Financial Reports -
                  In conformity with provisions under the Public School Code and
                  Series 700 of the Board Policy Manual, the Board at this time shall
                  consider ratification/approval of current school district financial
                  reports including the treasurer’s report, all of which have been
                  provided to the Board in advance of tonight’s meeting and will be
                  included in the official Minutes of this meeting.

            B.    Ratification/Approval of Payment of Bills -
                  At this time, the Board shall consider ratification/approval of all the
                  bills paid from the school district’s funds since the last regular meeting
                  of the Board on August 28, 2006. Bill listings were provided to the
                  Board prior to tonight’s meeting and will be included in the official
                  Minutes of this meeting.

            C.    Award a cost per copy contract for copiers to Fraser Advanced
                  Information Systems. This is a three-year term for Option 1 of Bid
                  Specifications, as previously presented to the Board, and which
                  becomes part of this resolution through reference.

            D.    Acknowledge receipt from the Pennsylvania Department of Education
                  a Self-Certification Application for a Non-Reimbursable Construction
                  Project for the Nazareth Area High School Catwalk Improvements, at
                  a total estimated cost of $20,000.00.

            E.    Approval/ratification of all the capital project bills dated September
                  18, 2006. Listing of these bills will be provided to the Board at the
                  meeting, and will become part of this resolution through reference.

            F.    Approve a letter of agreement between the Nazareth Area School
                  District and Timothy Lucas for Teacher Leadership workshops during
                  the 2006-2007 school year.

            G.    Approve a letter of agreement between the Nazareth Area School
                  District and the Lehigh Valley Drug and Alcohol Intake Unit for
                  student evaluations during the 2006-2007 school year.

            H.    Approve an agreement between the Nazareth Area School District and
                  Antonia Torpey for orientation and mobility services for students
                  requiring specialized services during the 2006-2007 school year.

6.   PERSONNEL BOARD RESOLUTIONS:

             __________________________         I move to approve the Resolutions (6A)

             __________________________         through (6Q) as hereinafter described:

            A.    Approve the additions and deletions to the Substitute Teacher List, in a
                  list to be presented to the Board, and which becomes part of this
                  resolution through reference.

            B.    Approve the request for a sabbatical leave for the purpose of study for
                  Susan Young, teacher, Nazareth Area Middle School, for the second
                  semester of the 2006-2007 school year.

            C.    Accept the letter of retirement received from Catherine Schuyler,
                  teacher, Nazareth Area Middle School, effective November 11, 2006.

            D.    Approve an administrative internship for Adele Mitch with Alan Davis
                  during the first semester of the 2006-2007 school year.

            E.    Approve a list of employees for Jennings Transportation Corporation,
                  in a list previously provided to the Board, and which becomes part of
                  this resolution through reference.

            F.    Adjust the date previously approved for Kelly Tedesco to reflect a
                  resignation date of approximately October 30, 2006.

            G.    Accept the letter of resignation received from Melissa Clarke,
                  associate teacher, Lower Nazareth Elementary School, effective June
                  30, 2006.

H.      Hire Abby Findon as a long-term substitute learning support teacher
        during the leave of Candice Davis, Lower Nazareth Elementary
        School, effective approximately November 15, 2006, through
        approximately April 30, 2007, at Step 1 of the Bachelor’s Salary
        Schedule, currently $37,500.00, pro-rated, and with other terms and
        conditions of employment currently in effect between the Nazareth
        Area School District and the Education Association, and pending
        receipt of all required paperwork.

I.      Hire Nancy Trach as a replacement associate teacher, with an initial
        assignment at the Nazareth Area High School, retroactive to
        September 7, 2006, at a current rate of $12.97 per hour, as per the
        terms and conditions of employment currently in effect between the
        Nazareth Area School District and the Support Personnel Association,
        and pending receipt of all required paperwork.

J.      Approve the salary scale and benefits for administrative assistants, as
        previously presented to the Board, and which will become part of this
        resolution through reference.

K.      Approve the addition of Tracy Arndt to the approved list of food
        service substitutes.

L.      Hire Jamie Hill as a part-time replacement custodian, with an initial
        assignment at Bushkill Elementary School, effective October 2, 2006,
        as per the terms and conditions of employment currently in effect
        between the Nazareth Area School District and the Teamster
        Association, and pending receipt of all required paperwork.

M.      Approve the following EPED assignments for the 2006-2007 school

               A.   Approve the purchase of a new Genie self-propelled scissor lift, at a
                    cost not to exceed $15,986.00 through the State Purchasing Contract,
                    as previously presented to the Board, and which becomes part of this
                    resolution through reference.

               B.   Approve the purchase of a new Bobcat work machine, at a cost not to
                    exceed $34,112.00 through the State Purchasing Contract, as
                    previously presented to the Board, and which becomes part of this
                    resolution through reference.

               C.   Approve the following Use of Facilities Applications:

                    1.   From the Nazareth Lacrosse team for the use of the Nazareth
                         Area High School, Room 258, on Thursday, September 14, 2006,
                         from 6:00 p.m., to 9:00 p.m., for a Lacrosse Boys Booster

                    2.   From The Teens for Christ Club for the use of the Nazareth Area

7.    From the Class of 1996 Reunion Committee on Sunday, October

                   25.   From the Nazareth Area Science Project for the use of the
                         Bushkill Elementary School Grounds and Environmental Center
                         on October 21 and 22, 2006, from 8:00 a.m., to 4:00 p.m., to
                         conduct a rail fest on rail in the environmental center. At the
                         time of printing, class, etc. was not available for this request.

              D.   Approve the disposal of the following equipment that is not
                   economically feasible to repair, in accordance with District

                   with a total purchase of equipment for Tech Ed not to exceed
                   $105,000.00, as previously presented to the Board, and which becomes
                   part of this resolution through reference.

              F.   Approve the High School Technology Education expenses, as follows -
                   Television Studio - $185,000.00; Broadcast Journalism - $48,409.00;
                   Yearbook, Graphic Arts - $3,450.00; and peripheral areas, including the
                   Athletic Director’s office - $40,287.00, for a total of $277,146.00., as
                   previously presented to the Board, and which becomes part of this
                   resolution through reference.
