                                             00900. BEST OF BREED COMPETITION
                            Non-Regular Classes Involving Multiple Dog Entries
   NR2.09100. Stud Dog Class - For Stud Dogs and two of their Get. It is not necessary that the Get be under
   the same ownership as that of the Stud Dog. The Stud Dog may be entered separately or in one of the Regular
   Classes, or if a Champion of Record in Best of Breed Competition, but MUST be entered in the Stud Dog Class,
   the Get MUST be entered in one of the Regular Classes. The Stud Dog shall be considered as one entry and
   requires one entry fee, this being the regular fees plus the additional class fee if the Stud Dog is entered in another
   class. The Stud Dog must be shown in the ring with the Get. The class will be judged on the merits of the Get.
   NR2.09200. Brood Bitch Class - Same as for Stud Dog except substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and
   Produce for Get.
   As the judges' decision in the Stud Dog and Brood Bitch Classes will be based on the merits of more than one
   dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in the class will be eligible for Best
   of Breed by virtue of having won these classes.

   NR2.41600. Extended Generations Class - Non-Regular class comprised of three (3) dogs representing three (3)
   successive generations. Specifically, the entry must be a dog or bitch: one (1) offspring of that dog or bitch: and one
   (1) offspring of that offspring. Each dog/bitch must be entered in a regular class or another non-regular class. Only
   one entry fee is paid for this class. The entry need not be of the same sex. All three (3) dogs will be judged. Ownership
   is not a consideration - each dog/bitch can have different ownership. Judge's decision is based on the merits and
   likeness of the total entry of three (3).

The following prizes are offered by the Mid-Florida Golden Retriever Club.
                                              00100. SWEEPSTAKES
                                            Judge: Dr. Sherry L. Brothers
The Sweepstakes is open to all Golden Retrievers who are 6 months & under 18 months of age on the day of the
show. Dogs shown in Sweepstakes must also be entered in one of the regular classes at the regular entry fee and
on the regular entry form. Indicate your Sweepstakes Class with the age division in the space provided for “Additional
Classes”. Handlers are limited to owner, co-owner, breeder or member of their immediate family. It is required that
the same person who showed the dog to a First Place in a Sweepstakes Class will also show the dog in the Best in
Sweepstakes judging. However, if that person should have more than one dog in the Best in Sweepstakes judging,
someone else is permitted to show the additional winner. The person should meet the handler definition above, ie:
should be co-owner, co-breeder, or immediate family member. Only in cases where there is not another owner, co-
owner, breeder, co-breeder or immediate family member available, should another person, who is not a professional
handler, take the dog into Best in Sweepstakes judging. It is understood that there would be no financial benefit to
this person. Entry fee is $20.00.

AKC Junior Handler Numbers are now required for entry in Junior Showmanship Competition. Numbers may be

Entry blank MUST be filled out with the necessary information, otherwise the entry in Junior Showmanship

                     Attention Exhibitors ~
                  Important Show Information
Security is on grounds 24 hours a day.
GENERAL PARKING: There will be a fee of $5.00/day per vehicle other than
motor homes parked INSIDE fenced area and will be collected at the gate.
GROOMING INFORMATION: Grooming will be open from 3:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M.
Wednesday, February 16, 2011.
STACKABLE CRATES ONLY. Cords should be taped to the floor.
All dogs entering the event site should be current on all vaccinations/
inoculations.
Dogs left in the buildings overnight are the sole responsibility of the owners or agents.
Grooming setup and control is directed by PHA representatives and will be strictly
enforced.

                         General Information
Keep all fire exits clear. NO SMOKING. Any vehicle blocking fire lanes, entrances/
exits, will be towed at the owners/exhibitors expense. PLEASE obey all posted signs.
Keep aisleways clear. There will be trash containers available. Please us them and
pick up after your dogs.
NO BABY OR DOG STROLLERS ALLOWED.
RESTROOMS: NO DOGS permitted in restrooms. NO cleaning of dog food bowls in
restrooms. There will be an area for cleaning of bowls and bathing dogs, if necessary.
All violators will be dealt with by an Event Committee.
FOOD: There will be food service at these events.
CATALOGS: There will be no free catalogs at these events.
VIDEOS: There will be no VCR filming or still photos taken of these events except
for one's personal use. Any other must be cleared with the Show Chairperson.
MOTELS: Exhibitors are urged to avoid damage to hotel-motel property and to
clean up after your dogs, thus assuring continued use and availability of these
facilities. Anyone reported to have damaged their rooms will be handled by the
Event Committee accordingly.
DOGS IN DISTRESS: The Event Committee will exercise the right to remove from
vehicles any dogs or animals that appear to be in danger of overheating or other life
threatening problem. Damages are the responsibility of the vehicle owner.
SELLING DOGS will not be allowed on show grounds.
SHOW CHAIRPERSON has the authority to change rules for the safety and comfort
of dogs & exhibitors. All exhibitors are expected to display good sportsmanship. The
Event Committee will deal with violations in this area.
FLEXI-LEADS: NOT permitted in buildings.
CHILDREN: Are the responsibility of the exhibitor/parent/agent and must be under
control at all times for their safety and well-being.
RINGS & RINGSIDE: NO CRATES IN SHOW BUILDING EXCEPT DURING BREED
JUDGING. NO UNATTENDED CRATES AT RINGSIDE. SHOW CHAIRPERSON
RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ASK ANY OR ALL CRATES TO BE REMOVED AT

All camping is available from Medulla Rd. at the entrance to the show site (Sun 'N
Fun) where the road turns.
Gates open 3:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 16, 2011 parking for
Thursday Specialty Breeds ONLY. Gates open Thursday, February 17, 2011 at
8:00 A.M. for vendors' parking ONLY. All other parking begins at 12:00 Noon.
On other days, gates open at 7:00 A.M. Gates are locked at 11:00 P.M. every night.
All sites must be vacated by 9:00 P.M. Monday night.

There are two choices of where to camp.
1. Full Hookup Campground.
This campground is about 2,400 ft. (1/3 mile) on paved road from the show buildings.The
facility is managed by Sun 'N Fun and not under the control of the cluster. Camping
fee is $30.00 per night. Sites are approximately 17' x 55'. Most hookups have 30
AMP service. Reservations are required. For further information please contact:

2. On the show site.
On concrete, no utilities - $15.00. Most sites are adjacent to grassy area and within
less than 200 yards of the show buildings, walkways are concrete.
On grass, 15 AMP 115V service only - $25.00. This lot is about 300 yards from the
show buildings.
On grass, 30 AMP service only - $35.00. These sites are within less than 200 yards
of the show buildings. Walkways are concrete.
Reservations will be accepted for four day 30 amp service only. All others must
pay at the gate.

Pump-out service will be available at contractor's cost. There is water on the grounds
but not convenient. The Strawberry Cluster will attempt to provide a water truck.
Please keep your site clean and be respectful of the property - we want to come
back! This is a user-friendly, courteous and respectful cluster. People displaying
rude or offensive behavior will be brought before the Event Hearing Committee.

    Entry Forms, Downloaded and/or Photocopies of Entry Forms without Agreement and Rules on the reverse side of
    the Official AKC Entry Form are NOT ACCEPTABLE.
Mail All Entries With Fees to MB-F, Inc., Superintendent, P.O. Box 575, Brooksville, FL 34605-0575. Entries received
    without fees will not be accepted. Acknowledgement of entries will be made as soon as practicable with tickets and/or
    identification cards. The person accompanying a dog must show tickets of admission and identification before the dog will
    be received. Should such acknowledgement not be received by the exhibitor within a reasonable time, please verify
    your entry with the MB-F Office in North Carolina.

    by a cover sheet stating the number of pages, what shows and how many dogs per show. Visa/Mastercard/Discover/
    American Express number and expiration date, as well as the printed cardholder’s name and address must be included
    on cover sheet. Visa/Mastercard/Discover/American Express number, expiration date, cardholder’s name must appear
    on each entry. Fax entries must be received by the closing hour/date. Fax fee: $4.50 per entry in addition to entry fee. All
    credit card entries, regardless of method submitted, are processed through the Fax program and are charged the $4.50
    processing fee. This Fax Fee is subject to change without notice.
Make All Checks and Money Orders payable to MB-F, Inc. CANADIAN exhibitors must make fees payable in U.S. FUNDS.
    When you provide a check as payment, you authorize us to either use information from your check to make a one-time
    electronic fund transfer from your account or to process the payment as a check. Please mail checks or money orders
    with entries. Superintendent assumes no responsibility for cash sent through the mail. Tabulate carefully. Due to cost of
    processing, no refunds $4.00 and under will be made.
An AKC Recording Fee of $.50 first entry only and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 per entry will be required for
    each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. An AKC Recording Fee
    of $3.00 will be required for each entry in any Licensed or Member Club Rally Trial. All Recording and Event Service
    Fees are paid to the American Kennel Club. (There is no Recording Fee or Event Service Fee for Junior Showmanship,
    Sweepstakes, Futurities, Brace/Team, Multi-Dog Classes or Special Attractions.)
No Entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance.
Entry Fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge, or barred
    from competition by action of the Event Committee. If because of riots, wars, strikes, civil disturbances, national emergencies,
    health emergencies, and the dictates of law enforcement or of the owner(s) of the grounds and/or facilities or other acts
    beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the event, no refund of entry fee will be made.
    Extreme weather conditions, such as, but not limited to snow storms, hurricanes, lightning, extreme heat, heavy rains, or
    other circumstances including, but not limited to, the condition of the facilities or grounds and/or the ingress and egress
    from the grounds, must be considered for the health and safety of the dogs, exhibitors and spectators. The well-being of
    dogs, exhibitors and spectators is of paramount importance and, in the event it is necessary to cancel or stop the event
    before completion, no refund of entry fee will be made. To find out about any AKC event cancellations call the AKC Event
    Cancellation Hotline (877) 252-3229.
Post Dated Checks, Returned Checks and Declined Credit Cards do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Superintendent
    will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check or declined card. Subsequent returned checks or declined
    cards from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis.
No Refund for Duplicate Entries. Every effort to find all duplicate entries will be made; however, if entry has been processed,
    no refund will be made. An Administrative Fee of $2.00 will be charged or withheld from refunds for duplicate entries.
An Administrative Fee of $2.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries cancelled prior to the closing of entries.
Errors on Entry Blanks. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may make such errors, and no
    entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date.
Each Owner and Agent listed on the entry form and/or individual responsible for the dog at a show is bound by the Certification
    and Agreement on the front and back of the entry form regardless of who may have completed & submitted the entry form.
As specified in Chapter 12, Section 4 of the AKC Rules Applying to Dog Shows, information contained on the entry form is
    required to be published in the club’s show catalog. This information is also subject to publication in other media.
Dogs May Arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused.
Judges Will Not Wait for Any Dog Holding Up a Class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their
    dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged.
All Dogs Present must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in the exercising ring.
Class Cash Prizes will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must be made in the ring
    before the judging of that breed is over, and the Superintendent’s Office advised at once. The Superintendents and show-
    giving Club disclaim any liability for cash prizes after the judging of the breed is over.
No gasoline or diesel generators are permitted inside any building or within 100 feet of any tent in which this dog show is
    conducted.

                                                                         AGREEMENT
  I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem suffi-
  cient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the
  dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members,
  directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises
  and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforemen-
  tioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may
  be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the
  event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for
  any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or
  damage to this dog.
  Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend and save the aforementioned
  parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon

  1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the par-
  ticular variety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13
  in., over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies (rough, smooth), Bull
  Terriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels
  (King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard).
  2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Champions
  of Record and dogs which, according to their owners’ records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but
  whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited
  to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.
  3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is
  divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering
  your dog, i.e, age division, color division, weight division.
  4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a
  registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which
  entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certifi-
  cate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to
  the AKC. (For complete rules, refer to Chapter 11, Section 3.)
  5. Mixed Breed dogs entering classes for Agility, Obedience, and Rally trials should mark Breed as AKC Canine
  Partners Listed Dog “All-American Dog/Mixed Breed.” Variety, Breeder, Sire, Dam information shall remain blank for
  mixed breed entrants.
