					                             13TH DECEMBER 2010
                               Thanks Everyone!
Thank you for your support over the past year it has been memorable in many ways;
not least the improvements to the outdoor provision for our youngest children. Your
overwhelming support and generosity towards school and our varied fund raising
activities is always very much appreciated.

We face many challenges over the coming year not least the major repairs that are
required to the building and playground improvements needed to meet the needs of all
children. Each day is different and fills me with a sense of purpose and excitement,
strengthening my commitment to this school and community. It is a privilege to lead this
school, working in partnership with dedicated staff, talented children, loving parents
and carers and hardworking governors.

CHRISTMAS PARTIES - Children in Foundation and KS1 may come
dressed in their party clothes, but please ensure that they are
dressed warm enough for outdoor play break times. Thank you.

                    Christmas Concerts
Special thanks to all the children, staff and helpers for their
tireless efforts ensuring the success of our concerts.

                      “GOOD LUCK” Mrs Vernon
It is with mixed emotions that I must inform you that Whinmoor
St Paul’s will be saying goodbye to Mrs Vernon at the end of term, to
take up her new opportunities. I would like to take this opportunity to
wish Fiona all the best for the future, and know she will be successful.
In January Miss H. Richardson will be joining our team as teacher with responsibility for
Foundation Stage 1. Those children in Foundation 1 will have the opportunity to work with
her before the end of term. I am sure that her skills will be fully utilised by the school, in
continuing to raise attainment. I feel sure that she will be welcomed by the school
 community on her arrival.
