Stephanie McCray is President and Founder of Executive Material, a
boutique coaching and consulting firm. The mission of Executive
Material is to equip leaders to lead; to be the best, achieve the most, and
contribute at the highest levels of their businesses or organizations.
An experienced and proven partner for leaders, entrepreneurs, and
organizations, Stephanie is masterful at working on the big picture as
well as the small details and is equally masterful at working with the
individual as well as the system to achieve powerful results.
For fifteen years, Stephanie held a variety of positions with increasing
responsibility in the insurance industry. In one of her premier
accomplishments, she led a team of attorneys who argued a case on
spousal privilege before the Illinois Appellate Court. In addition to winning that case, they set
precedent in the State of Illinois and were featured in The Chicago Daily Law Bulletin.
Building on her work with Attorneys, Stephanie has also worked with Physician Leaders, Health
Care Administrators and CEO’s as a senior consultant inside the health care industry. She
specialized in strategic change, leadership development, talent management and performance
Stephanie brings two decades of business experience to the Executive Education Program at
Loyola University where she teaches graduate MBA courses on International Business Strategy,
High Performance Work Systems, and Conflict Strategies for Senior Leaders.
As a dynamic speaker and master facilitator, Stephanie connects with audiences as if they were
best friends engaged in an intimate conversation at the corner cafe. She delivered break out
sessions at the global leadership conference for the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association in
2008 and 2009 that were highly rated. Stephanie is also part of the exclusive Speaker’s Bureau for

Stephanie is a DDI certified facilitator and is qualified to administer several state-of-the-art 360
assessment instruments, including PDI’s Profilor and Executive Profilor, Lominger’s Voices 360 and
the Leadership Effectiveness Assessment offered by the Management Resource Group.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Illinois at U-C, graduating with honors.
She completed a Master’s Degree in Organization Development from Loyola University-Chicago in
2005. An Executive Coach, certified through New Ventures West, Stephanie is listed in the
Manchester’s Who’s Who Registry of Executives and Professionals and is a member of the National
Association of Female Executives, and the American Society for Training and Development.
