2008 WINE LOVERS CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Varieties: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon organically certified
Cabernet Sauvignon is arguably the most noble of all red wine
grapes. Cabernet Sauvignon is the second most widely planted
red wine grape in Australia, and when grown in cool climate
regions tends to exhibit herbaceous and peppery flavours.
Region: Orange Wine Region, New South Wales
The high altitude cool climate Orange Wine Region is well suited
for growing classically flavoured Cabernet Sauvignon.
Bouquet: The rich aromas are reminiscent of blackberries,
blackcurrants and a hint of mint.
Palate: A rich rounded palate of blackberries and plum. Subtle
vanillan oak with soft and lingering tannins.
Serving Suggestions: An excellent accompaniment to steak and
roast red meat dishes.
Alcohol: 14.8% (8.8 Standard Drinks)
Under Australian law, alcohol must carry a Standard Drinks number.
A standard drink is equal to 10 grams of pure alcohol.
Sulphites: Minimal Sulphites used
A minimal amount of natural sulphur dioxide has been added to this
wine as a natural preservative.
Fining: Egg white fining—To ensure maximum clarity in our wine
we used natural egg white as a processing aid.
TA: 7.1 g/L pH: 3.28 Residual Sugar: 1.2 g/L
Harvest date: April 2008
Oak: 5 months in 300L French oak barrels
Production: 1000 cases Bottled: December 2009
Cellaring: 10 yrs+ in a cellar <20DegC
