Bio-Film (jelly/slime), bacteria, fungal and mould is found in virtually aqueous environment such as cooling coils, heat exchangers, distribution pipes, cooling tower in-fills and or any substrates. Bacterial bio-films (jelly/slime) are one of the causes of “Sick Building Syndrome” and/or “Building Related Illnesses”, system fouling, product contamination, equipment failure, decreased productivity due to downtime for system cleaning, wear/tear, expensive replacement parts, reduction of airflow, reduction in heat transfer, scaling and loss in efficiency. This presentation will give you an insight of what is actually happening in the HVAC industry and how we are able to combat the problems. Let us share our knowledge.
