2008 PLAYOFF INFORMATION
Invoicing
You will see the following two payment options on the enclosed invoice:
Federal Tax ID#
All payments made to the Boston Celtics should be made payable to either “Banner Seventeen, LLC” or “Boston Celtics.” The taxpayer identification number is 30-0136909.
1. Playoff Payment Plan by Credit Card Should you choose to use a credit card to pay for your 2008 Playoff tickets, you will be charged for two rounds (a maximum of 8 games) in your first payment. After your initial payment, your card will be charged as the Celtics advance. At the conclusion of the First Round, your credit card will be charged for the Eastern Conference Finals (third round). At the conclusion of the Eastern Conference Semifinals (second round), your card will automatically be charged for the NBA Finals. To order your tickets by credit card, please access your Celtics season ticket account online at celtics.com. Your Celtics account number and password can be found on your invoice. 2. Playoff Payment by Check If you choose to pay for the 2008 Playoffs by check, you must pay your entire playoff invoice in full by March 14, 2008. To order your tickets using a check, please send your payment with tear-off portion of your invoice for the full amount due.
Playoff Format
The NBA playoffs consists of 16 potential home playoff games.
First Round Round 1 (Best 4 out of 7 games) Eastern Conference Finals Round 3 (Best 4 out of 7 games) Eastern Conference Semifinals Round 2 (Best 4 out of 7 games) NBA Finals Round 4 (Best 4 out of 7 games)
Full Season Plan
Upon payment, full season ticket holders will receive tickets to all 16 potential home playoff games.
Half Season 21 Plan
Upon payment, all current 21 game holders will receive alternating home games in alternating rounds of the 2008 Playoffs. Home Games 1 and 3 in Round One, Home Games 2 and 4 in Round Two, Home Games 1 and 3 in Round Three and Home Games 2 and 4 in the Finals Round.
Additional Playoff Strips
If additional playoff strip inventory is available, you will be notified by the email address you have provided on your account.
Half Season 22 Plan
Upon payment, all current 22 game holders will receive alternating home games in alternating rounds of the 2008 Playoffs. Home Games 2 and 4 in Round One, Home Games 1 and 3 in Round Two, Home Games 2 and 4 in Round Three and Home Games 1 and 3 in the Finals Round.
Deadline
In order to process accounts and print playoff tickets, we must receive payment by Friday, March 14, 2008. Playoff tickets will not be guaranteed for any payments received after the deadline. Any money left on account from games not played will be applied to your 2008-09 season tickets.
Ticket Delivery
Playoff tickets will be mailed approximately 7-10 days prior to the first home playoff game, which will be played no earlier than April 19, 2008.
