Late last week a number of SSAA members were on hand at our Springvale range to re-
ceive an assurance from James Merlino, Victorian Police and Sports Minister, that “a future

for the 1973 World Moving Target Championships for the International Shooting Union.
The announcement entitled “On Target To Meet The Needs Of The State’s Shooters” a future
Victorian Labor government has also announced additional funds for the construction of the Country Alliance
new State Shooting Centre for Victoria. This is an additional $7 million dollars to the $12.7
million that was announced in the budget session earlier this year.
After many years of persistent lobbying and a lot of behind the scenes work from the SSAA Your future
State Executive and prominent long term members it is gratifying to have reached this posi-
tion on this historic SSAA landmark. The Executive is now focused on bringing this matter to will be in good hands
