Print TWO copies: one to sign and submit for processing and one for your records. Attach the fee and/or documentation to the application and mail to the address above. Incomplete applications will be returned unprocessed and result in a $25.00 charge. Additional information is available on the web site or from the Education Advisor. Include a $95.00, non-refundable, fee paid by a cashier's check or money order made payable to the Georgia Real Estate Appraisers Board. The Director must attach a Georgia Criminal Information Center report (GCIC) if a Georgia Resident. If you are not a resident of Georgia, attach an equivalent report from your state of residency. This report must not be more than 60 days old. A report from a party other than a law enforcement agency is not acceptable. Any incident listed on the report should receive clearance. In addition, you must disclose any conviction, nolo contendere plea, or first offender sentence not reflected on the report. Attach supporting documentation, if required, from Background Section C. Directors who are Georgia residents (or previous residents, for example, if you leased or owned a residence in Georgia, attended college here, or served in the military here) can obtain a GCIC from any local sheriff's office or police department. Directors who have not lived in Georgia must submit a report from their resident state, province, or territory that is equivalent to the GCIC. Depending on the law enforcement agency's policy, there may be a waiting period to obtain the report. Such reports must not be more than 60 days old. L, CR, & CG) must be a minimum of 15 credit hours and include an examination. List Continuing Education Courses separately, even if the course will be offered as a classification course with examination during the same class session. In other words, if a school plans to offer a 15 hour classification course with examination, and give credit for 14 hours continuing education to students who do not need classification credit and who do not complete the examination, then the continuing education course must be listed separately below. Both the continuing education course and the classification course may have the same title. The Board will issue a separate course code for the continuing education course, and a school must submit a separate course roster letter for the classification course credit and the continuing education credit courses.
