Four Steps
Once you have set up your patient’s profile there are four basic steps before
you can place the prescribed orthotic in your patient’s shoes:
Step One
The practitioner holds the foot in sub-talar neutral position. Foot data is
captured in less than a second. An accurate 3D model is generated with the
ScanAny software. Data is electronically transmitted to a lab.
Step Two
Lab receives the data then incorporates practitioner’s corrective measures.
Practitioner’s instructions are included in the patient profile screen.
Step Three
Through computer - aided design, a tool path is generated for positive mould
creation or the actual orthotic is milled.
Step Four
The finished orthotic is sent to the practitioner.
