    Dear Exhibitor,

    I am pleased to advise that the Illawarra Mercury will be staging their annual Retirement Expo on
    Saturday, 1 May 2010 from 9am – 3pm at the Kembla Grange Racecourse, Princes Highway,
    Kembla Grange.

    This will be the sixth year that the Illawarra Mercury has staged the Retirement Expo, which has now
    proven to be a successful annual community event that continues to grow and provide invaluable
    retirement specific information to the Illawarra region and beyond.

    Please find enclosed an all-inclusive exhibitor information package that will assist you with organising
    your participation in the expo. Please complete the exhibition stand booking form and agreement and
    then forward it to me with your 25% deposit as soon as possible to secure your preferred exhibition
    stand or floor space. Please note that exhibition stands and floor space will not be placed on hold.

    We trust that you recognise the benefits of participating in the expo. Exhibitions are one of the
    most cost effective methods of reaching new and existing customers. Test marketing, advertising,
    generating brand exposure, launching new products and services or whatever your marketing
    objective maybe, it can easily be carried out at the expo because your target marketing is coming to
    you. There is only one first impression, therefore catching the eye of prospective customers depends
    ultimately on their reception of your exhibition stand, so make it stand out.

  Installation of stands     Exhibition stands will be installed on Thursday, 29 April 2010
  Exhibitor bump in          Friday, 30 April 2010 between 9am – 3pm. You must finish bumping in by 3pm
  Exhibitor bump out         Saturday, 1 May 2010 from 3pm. You must not start to pack up and bump out before 3pm
  Removal of stands          Removal of stands will commence from 4pm Saturday, 1 May 2010
  Access to venue            Kembla Grange Racecourse is located along the Princes Highway at the foothills of the Illawarra Escarpment. If exiting
                             off the F6, take the Kembla Grange exit onto Northcliffe Drive and then follow the sings to Kembla Grange Racecourse
  Car parking                Ample parking available with large car park directly outside the venue
  Catering                   The venue will have their snack bar open serving food and drinks
  Deliveries                 Deliveries are the responsibility of each exhibitor
  Exhibitor passes           Four exhibitor passes will be provided to each exhibitor and are only to be used by staff working at the expo
  Floor plan                 Detailed floor plan and exhibition stand locations map is enclosed on page 9 and is subject to change without notification
  Floor area                 Exhibition floor area will be covered in dark grey carpet tiles
  Furniture                  All exhibitors are to supply their own furniture. Should you need to hire furniture please contact Exhibit System on

  Fascia signage             The fascia signage will have a white background with orange text. Please note that the exhibitor name that you list on
  your                       booking form will be used as your stand name on the fascia signage unless advised otherwise by contacting Belinda on
                             4221 2294 by no later than Friday, 16 April 2010. Please note that floor space exhibitors do not receive fascia signage
  Single stands              Single Shell Scheme Stands are 3 m x 2 m with 2.4 m high rear and dividing walls that are opal in colour. Each stand will
                             be fixed with 2 x 120 w spotlights on track, 1 x 4 amp power point and fascia signage. Please see the enclosed typical
                             single Shell Scheme Stand perspective views on page 6 as an example of the stand setup
  Double stands              Double Shell Scheme Stands are 6 m x 2 m with 2.4 m high rear and dividing walls that are opal in colour. Each stand
                             will be fixed with 4 x 120 w spotlights on tracks, 2 x 4 amp power points and fascia signage. Please see the enclosed
                             typical double Shell Scheme Stand perspective views on page 6 as an example of the stand setup
  Fixing methods             Fixing items to the walls in the form of hangers and hooks, velcro (walls are velcro compatible) and small pins is
                             permitted and must be supplied by each exhibitor. Nails and screws are not permitted at all
  Electrical                 Exhibitors requiring additional electrical installation other than that included in their package must contact Exhibit System
                             on 02 9982 5511 by no later than Friday, 9 April 2010 to discuss further
  Insurance                  Illawarra Mercury is part of John Fairfax Holdings and is covered by their Public Liability Insurance Policy. This
                             policy will cover all aisle-way space. It is the exhibitors responsibility to take out such insurance for their individual
                             exhibition stand and display space


  Additional Information
  Seminars                   Illawarra Mercury will be holding free seminars during the expo. Exhibitors who wish to participate in the seminars should
                             indicate their interest on the booking form on page 7 by ticking yes and should also contact Belinda on 4221 2294 by
                             no later than Friday, 19 March 2010 to confirm their interest. Please note limited spaces available, therefore a draw will
                             be completed to determine seminar participants based on interest received
  Marketing                  Illawarra Mercury will organise an extensive marketing campaign utilising print, television, radio and online.
  Payment deadlines          No bookings will be accepted without a 25% deposit and a signed booking form. The balance is due Friday, 26 March
                             2010. No deposits will be refunded after Friday, 12 March 2010
  Ad copy deadline           Ad copy deadline for the Retirement Expo Liftout is Friday, 26 March 2010. The supplement will be published in Friday,

Standard Conditions for Benefit of the Exhibitor, Organiser and Venue Owner

Conditions

• The Exhibitor shall not assign or sub-let any part of the space without the written consent of the organiser

• The Exhibitor must stay within their exhibition stand or floor space area and their display must not protrude outside
  of this area

• The Exhibitor must only market their company within their exhibition stand or floor space area and must not walk
  around marketing their company. No marketing outside of exhibition stand or floor space area please as it is unfair to
  other exhibitors and this behaviour will not be tolerated

• The organiser shall not be liable for damage to any exhibits caused by loss, theft, fire, water, storms, strikes and riots
  or by the interference or negligence of any person unless the damage is actually caused directly by the organiser

• The organiser will carry out general cleaning of aisles and passages daily, however it is the obligation of the Exhibitor
  to ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of its space

• All Exhibitors shall abide by the rules of security in place in the venue and shall produce passes or other documents
  where requested to do so

• The Exhibitor agrees to occupy its space at its own risk and to indemnify the organiser against any actions claims
  or losses which may be suffered by the organiser as a result of damage to property or person upon or in relation to
  the Exhibitors space. The Exhibitor shall not alter the floor or walls of the building and shall be liable for any damage
  caused to the building by reason of the Exhibitor’s occupation of the space

• The organiser will determine when the exhibition shall be opened to the Exhibitor and to the public, however the
  Exhibitor undertakes to commence setting up his / her display/s on Friday, 30 April 2010 from 9am and agree to
  have completed setting up by 3pm Friday, 30 April 2010

• The Exhibitor agrees to not start to pack up and bump out before 3pm on Saturday, 1 May 2010

• The organiser reserves the right to alter the location and / or date of the exhibition and the Exhibitor agrees to
  co-operate with the organiser in effecting such variation or alteration

• The organiser shall use its best endeavours to ensure the supply of services and to ensure the exhibition proceeds
  as agreed but shall not be liable to the Exhibitor for any losses or damage arising out of total failure of the services
  caused by strike, lock out, accident, or any other circumstances beyond the control of the organiser and should
  such a situation exist the Exhibitor shall not be entitled to a refund of any amounts paid by the Exhibitor nor shall they
  be relieved of the obligation to pay any amount due under this agreement. The organiser shall not be liable in any
  way for the expenditure or loss incurred by the Exhibitor

• The organiser may in its sole discretion release the Exhibitor from its obligations under this agreement in exceptional
  cicumstances in which event the Exhibitor will pay 50% of all monies due under the agreement
