Description: The Uniform Gift to Minors Act and the Uniform Transfer to Minors Act (UTMA) allow property to be given or transferred to a minor by delivering the property to a custodian. The custodian may use the property for the minor's benefit, education, and support. Under these Acts, a minor is usually entitled to possession of the property at age 21. A gift cannot be revoked once it is made in accordance with these Acts.
