RING 1       Show Jumping -9am

Class 1      Pre Novice Jumping – Jumps not to exceed 2ft in the first round.
             Combination not to have won 3 or more 1st prizes in SJ
             Results to be split horses/ponies

Class 2      Novice Jumping – Jumps not to exceed 2ft 3 in the first round.
             Horses/ponies not to have any BSJA winnings
             Results to be split horses/ponies

Class 3      2ft 6” Open Novice
             Results to be split horses/ponies

Class 4      Intermediate Jumping – jumps not to exceed 2ft 9 in first round
             Results to be split horses/ponies

Class 5      Open Jumping 3ft to 3ft 3”
             Results to be split horses/ponies

RING 2       Working Hunter – 9am

Class 6      Nursery Novice Working Hunter
             Ponies 13.2hh and under, Riders 12yrs and under
             Fences not to exceed 1ft 9”

Class 7      Novice Working Hunter Pony
             14.2hh and under, rider any age

Class 8      Novice Working Hunter Horse
             Over 14.2, rider any age

Class 9    Open Working Hunter Horse/Pony
           Rider any age
Working Hunter Championships for those placed 1st and 2nd in classes 6 to 9


RING 3       Peter Pan Jumping/Clear Round/ Style Jumping

9am          Clear Round from approx 1ft 6

10am         Peter Pan Jumping – fences not to exceed 1ft 6
Class 10     Riders 10yrs and under (may be led)

Class 11     BRC Style Jumping for Festival of the Horse Qualifier
             Combined Competition. This class is to be ridden in conjunction
             With the Riding Test qualifier and riders will complete their
             Riding Test before commencing the Style Jumping round.
             This class is also open to riders who do not wish to enter the
             Riding Test Class.
             Fences not to exceed 85cms – full rules available on BRC website
RING 4     RIDDEN SHOWING – 9AM – Judge Mrs Jenny Dean

Class 12   Leading Rein Pony – 12.2 & under, rider 9 yrs and under
           Leading rein to be attached to the noseband

Class 13   First Ridden Pony – 13.2 & under, rider 12yrs and under
           No canter, except in individual show

Class 14   Riding Club/Pony Club Pony 14.2hh and under, rider any age
           Will be required to jump a small fence

Class 15   Ridden Mountain and Moorland Pony, must be registered in their
           Respective stud book, rider any age

Class 16   Family Horse/Pony, to be ridden in a snaffle bridle, will be required
           to jump a small jump- will be judged on manners

Class 17   Ridden Veteran Pony – 14.2hh and under, rider any age
           Pony 15yrs and over
           Championship for 1st and 2nd placed horses in classes 12 to 17 inc

RING 5     IN HAND SHOWING – 9AM – Judge TBC

Class 18   In Hand Youngstock 1, 2, 3yrs old

Class 19   In Hand Best Condition, Horse/Pony any height

Class 20   In Hand Mountain and Moorland, must be registered in their
           Respective stud book

Class 21   In Hand Coloured Horse/Pony, open to Piebald, Skewbald, Tri
           Coloured, Roans, Palomino, and Spotted

Class 22   In Hand Driving Type Horse/Pony

Class 23   In Hand Veteran Horse/Pony – 15yrs and over

Class 24   Child Handler – 16yrs and under
           Championship for 1st and 2nd placed horses in classes 18 to 24 inc

RING 5     NOVELTY SHOW CLASSES – judge to be confirmed

Class 25   Most Handsome Gelding in hand

Class 26   Prettiest Mare in Hand

Class 27   Longest Mane and Tail

Class 28   Horse or Pony the judge would most like to take home
RING 6          RIDDEN SHOWING 9AM

Class 29        Ridden Hunter over 14.2hh

Class 30        Riding Horse over 14.2hh

Class 31        Riding Club Horse over 14.2hh
                Will be expected to jump a small jump

Class 32        Ridden Coloured Horse/Pony

Class 34        Family Horse over 14.2hh

               This test involves walk and trot only, and can be ridden in any bit
               Combination not to have been placed 1st in any dressage competition

Class D2       Prelim 7
               Horses not to have any BD points

Class D3       Prelim 10

Class D4       Section A – Riding Test RT7 2007 for Juniors
               Section B – Riding Test RT8 2007 for Seniors.
               This Class is part of the BRC Combined Competition for the Festival
               of the Horse Qualifier, but is also open to riders not competing in the
               Combined Competition.

The judge’s decision is final in all matters

Times quoted in the schedule are approximate only

All classes to be run under BD/Riding Club rules as appropriate. Any specific
condition not covered by these rules will come under the jurisdiction of the British
Horse Society.

Correct Riding attire, footwear and riding hats to EN1384 or PAS015 standard with
the harness correctly fastened, must be worn by anyone riding anywhere at this
competition. Hats prefixed SEI or ASTM are acceptable

The Riding Club accepts no liability for any thefts, accidents, damage, illness or
injury, however caused to horses, riders, spectators or any other persons or property
whatsoever, save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence or organisers
or anyone, for whom in law they are responsible.

Neither the organisers of the event, nor the landowners, British Horse Society, or any
other agent employed or representative of these bodies accepts any liability for any
accident, loss, damage, illness or injuries to horses, riders, spectators, land, cars, their
contents, and accessories or any other persons or property whether caused by their
negligence, breach of contract, or in any other way whatsoever.

It is recommended that owners/riders have adequate insurance to cover them at this
event.

The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to a horse/competitor

No entry fee will be refunded unless a certificate accompanies withdrawal from either
a doctor or veterinary surgeon

Any objections must be made to the Secretary within 30 minutes of the incident, in
writing, accompanied by a deposit of £20 which will be returned if the objection is
upheld

No horses/ponies under the age of 4yrs to be ridden on the showground
