Airport Parking LAX – Parking at the LA Airport

Parking is often the most trying part of flying. Though parking lots try to make your parking
experience smooth and simple, it doesn’t always turn out that way. Finding airport parking
LAX can be difficult. LAX is one of the largest airports in the US. That means that the parking
system is also one of the largest in the nation. Whether you decide to park in the airport run lots
or one of the many privately owned lots, it is always a good idea to leave some time in your
plans to park and shuttle to the airport.

LAX airport parking runs several lots. These are the closest parking but often the most difficult
to get into. Though there are nearly 8,000 parking spot spread among eight parking structures;
that doesn’t guarantee you a spot. Parking is available for both overnight and extended stay. The
parking is located across from the passenger terminals. Clearances on lots 1-7 are between seven
and eight feet. Larger vehicles must park in the economy lot, or lot C. Lot C is not located at 96 th
street and Sepulveda Boulevard. Shuttles run frequently from all the lots and drop passenger at
the central terminal.

Airport parking Los Angeles also includes several private lots. There are twenty one parking
lots available including the lots run by the airport. The benefit of private lots is that they cost far
less than parking in the central terminal or lot C. They are usually not more than a five minute
drive from the central terminal and shuttles are provided. Shuttles usually can be expected to
arrive every 12-15 minutes. Many of these lots offer lots of other bonuses like valet parking, car
washes, mechanics, oil change services, etc. It is important to make extra time for parking,
shuttle rides, and traffic so that you can arrive on time for airport security and checking your
bags.

Los Angeles airport parking doesn’t have to be difficult if you plan ahead. Planning ahead is
probably the best way to get the parking you want and the price you want to pay. It also shaves
time off of your search for good parking. Some private lots are now offering parking
reservations. This ensures that you will have the parking you want and you will not have to
spend any extra time looking for a spot. You will not have to have several backup plans or go to
several lots to find parking.
