Application Note: Elsbortine P95-M1 is a non-phosphorous, non-sulfur additive which provides antiwear performance exceeding ZnDTPs in our bench screening test (Modified Falex Pin & Vee Block Procedure). Elsbortine P95-M1 is an excellent candidate for an antiwear agent to meet the proposed ILSAC GF-4 Performance Standards that places limits on both phosphorus ( 0.05% max.) and sulfur (0.50% max.) in the finished passenger car engine oil 3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION 1 Health hazards : Prolong contact may cause sensitization to skin and eyes. Page 2-6 Physical and chemical hazards/fire and explosion hazards : No hazards. Material can form flammable mixture or can burn only upon Heating to temperatures at or above the flash point. Decomposes. Flammable/toxic gases will form upon decomposition. Toxic gases will form during combustion. See section 5 " fire fighting measures" 4. FIRST AID MEASURES Inhalation : Using proper respiratory protection, immediately remove the affected victim From exposure. Administer artificial respiration if the breathing is stopped. Call for medical attention. Skin contact : Immediately flash with large amount of water and use soap if available. Remove contaminated clothing, including shoes, after Flushing has begun. Avoid prolong contact to skin. Eye contact : Immediately flush eyes with large amount of water for at least 15 minutes And get prompt medical attention. Ingestion : DO NOT induce vomiting . if individual is conscious, give milk or water to Dilute stomach contents. DO NOT attempt to give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get prompt medical attention. 5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES Fire fighting procedures Used water spray to cool fire exposed surfaces and to protect personnel. Shut off fuel to fire. 2 Used foam, dry chemical, or water spray to extinguish fire. Continued. Page 3-6 Special fires precautions Respiratory and eye protection required for fire fighting personnel. Avoid spraying water directly into storage containers due to danger of boilover. See also section 4 "first aid measures" as well as section 10. Hazardous combustion product Fumes, Smoke,Carbon dioxide(CO2), Carbon monoxide (CO), Oxide of Nitrogen And Oxide of sulphur ( toxic). 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Land spill : Contain spill liquid with sand or earth. Recover by pumping or with suitable absorbent. Consult an expert on disposal of recovered material and ensure conformity To local disposal regulations. See section 4 as well as section 10. Water spill : Remove from surface by skimming or with suitable absorbents. If allowed by authorities and environmental agencies sinking and / or suitable dispersants may be used in non-confined waters. Consult an expert on disposal of any recovered material and ensure conformity to local disposal regulations. See also section 4 and 10. 7. HANDLING AND STORAGE Storage temperature degree C : max 30-35. Transport temperature degree C : max 30-35. Loading and unloading temperature degree C : max 30-35. Storage/transport pressure : Atmospheric. Electrostatic accumulation hazard : no, but use proper grounding. Usual shipping containers : cars, trucks, and drums. Material and coating suitable : Carbon steel, stainless Coating. 3 Page4-6 STORAGE AND HANDLING GENERAL NOTES Keep container closed. Handle container with care.
