 Students didn’t always agree on the value of a service
   or product.
 Students can be mistaken. We included these
   anyway.
 Students eloquently described the complexity of a
   research process in “natural language.”
 Students were hilarious, exuberant, enthusiastic.

      if more - not a lot more time

 Students love watching other students!

   Personalization and localization of services is great!
 “Incorrect” student interview information can be

   addressed in class or countered with another
   interview student’s positive experience.
 Other departments (Writing Center) love the
   promotion of their services.
 Didn’t expect to use YouTube.
                                 Future
What do we wish we had done differently?
What we plan to do during the next phase?
 Use for assessment.
       Tie in with accreditation initiatives.
       Survey with these students.
   Ask students about more targeted topics, ask for more detail.
   Give students a script to embellish.
   Film multiple students in dialogue with each other.
   Experiment with capturing interviews on the fly.
   Show fun side of the library.
   Interview faculty - why and how they use our library.
