Briefly stated, as a result of our attempts to get the Capital Project to pass and the
Visitor Center Foyer rising cost of construction, we had to reduce the original Capital Project’s scope by
approximately $1,012,753. However, with the receipt of one-time EXcel Aid ($512,846)
coupled with New York State (High Needs) Aid, the district can restore all of the
originally proposed building improvements and create a more student-centered
