         MasterCard Premium Programmes Launched in
                        Luxembourg

   Danske Bank International S.A. is first Bank in Luxembourg to roll-out
    MasterCard’s Platinum and World Signia programmes.

Waterloo, Belgium, December 27, 2002 – Danske Bank International S.A. is working with
MasterCard Europe to be the first bank in Luxembourg to launch MasterCard Premium programmes.

Danske Bank International, a member of Europay Luxembourg and MasterCard since 1993, has
decided to extend its credit card offering with the Platinum MasterCard and the World Signia
MasterCard programmes.

Besides benefiting from international acceptance and cash access in more than 28 million locations all
over the world, MasterCard Platinum and MasterCard World Signia cards also provide an extensive
variety of value added services to premium cardholders.

Platinum MasterCard is designed for the up-market modern executive or heavy travel individual
through personalised cardholder support, special services and a unique Platinum MasterCard
