With increase in power demand and unavailability of fossil fuels more
power has to come from sustainable energy system. This seminar discusses
the present and future situation of sustainable form of energy system and the
role of HVDC in efficient power transmission.
Sustainable form of energy closer to consumption are already
utilized, thus we have to set up remote generating stations far away from the
consumption. In the above case we require an efficient means of power
