Events organiser will be responsible for the production of events from conception through to completion.
Liaise with clients to determine their event requirements.
Create detailed proposals for events (e.g. timelines, venues, suppliers, staffing and budgets).
Book venues and obtain speakers or special guests.
Coordinate venue bookings, caterers, vendors, and contractors.
Plan layouts, the entertainment programs, schedule workshops and demonstrations.
Coordinate staffing requirements and briefings.
Obtain sponsorships and build relationships with exhibitors and partners.
Research market to identify event opportunities.
Manage budgets and expenses.
Prepare delegate packs and papers.
Liaise with PR and marketing team to promote the event.
Create a brand for the event and produce tickets, posters, catalogues and sales brochures and more.
Handle customer inquiries to ensure event runs smoothly.
Oversee the dismantling of the event and clearing the venue efficiently.
Prepare post-event reports (including analysis).
