Registered Nurses for all areas of Intensive Care
   (Cardiothoracic, General, Neurosurgical)

We are seeking highly-motivated Registered Nurses to join our
established nursing team at Royal North Shore Hospital. Opportunities
exist for full-time, part-time or casual pool nurses to work in all of the
three specialty Intensive Care Units. A variety of shifts are available
(6hrs, 8hr, 10hr and 12hrs). Royal North Shore is a Level 6 tertiary
referral hospital that specialises in Neurosurgery, Burns, Spinal,
Cardiac and General cases. The three Intensive Care Units have a mix
of Intensive Care and High Dependency beds.

The ICU will provide orientation, support, and ongoing clinical and
professional development. Applicants with no previous ICU experience
will be offered the Fundamentals in Critical Care Nursing course
during the first six months and will be eligible to apply for scholarships
in the Graduate Certificate in Intensive Care during their second year.

We have a focus on evidence-based practice and an active research
program supported by a team of Clinical Nurse Educators, the Clinical
Nurse Consultant and the Critical Care Nursing Professoriate.

Essentials:
 List A NSW Nursing registration
 Demonstrated high level of written & verbal communication skills
 Commitment to ongoing professional development

Desirables:
 Experience in ICU or HDU
 Post-graduate qualifications in Critical Care
