    MANAGEMENT PROFILE
   TOM FANNING
   Chief Executive Officer

   As Chief Executive Officer of Midland Expressway Limited, Tom is
   responsible to the Board and shareholders for the entire operation. He
   believes in excellent Customer Service and is committed to growing the
   business the region and our people. Tom seeks to ensure that the highest
   levels of excellence are achieved across all our activities and in the
   furtherance of key infrastructure projects within Macquarie Infrastructure
   Group (MIG). As Chief Executive Officer of Macquarie Motorway Group,
   Tom is also a key player within the infrastructure industry and represents
   MIG and the UK within ASECAP, the European Toll Roads Association. MIG
   is currently involved globally with projects in Canada, the USA, Australia,
   Korea, Europe and the UK. Tom is also past Chairman of the RegenCo
   Sandwell one of the Governments Urban Regeneration Companies which
   is funded by English Partnerships, Advantage West Midlands and Sandwell
   MBC. In addition Tom is Chairman of the Southern Staffordshire
   Partnership and is engaged in reviving the area’s tourism and economy
   and is a Board member of ILEX, the regeneration URC in Derry, Northern
   Ireland. He was previously Chief Executive of the Odyssey Trust Company
   and supervised the funding and development of the Odyssey complex in
   Belfast. Prior to that he held directorships with Commercial Union, The
   Burton Group plc and London & Regional Properties. Tom is a Chartered
   Surveyor by profession and is a specialist in regeneration and schemes of
   scale having spent over 30 years in the development industry.


   JAMES HODSON
   Head of Motorway Operations & Services

   James was appointed as Motorway Operations Manager in January 2003,
   with the responsibility to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance
   of the road is carried out to the highest standards. James lives in Stafford
   and has spent the last 13 years working within Highways Operations and
   Maintenance, for the past 6 years he’s specialised in privately financed
   projects. Now responsible for 36 Staff, James has developed an efficient
   department who work closely together to achieve the high standard our
   customers have now come to expect when using the M6 Toll.

   COLIN MABEY
   Systems Manager

   Colin has been involved with the project since February 2001 and joined
   MEL to head up the Systems Team in February 2003. Colin is a
   Chartered Engineer with 20 years experience of systems design and
   integration, across a broad range of industries. Colin having project
   managed the design and installation of the motorway’s state of the
   art systems technology, including Tolling Systems and Motorway
   communication systems, has established a team of 10 technically trained
   personnel which are responsible for maintaining and improving all
   systems. In addition to Colin’s M6Toll duties, Colin currently assists other
   MIG Assets worldwide with technical issues.
DAVID SLATER
Company Secretary

David joined MEL in October 2000 as Finance Manager and Company
Secretary. A Chartered Accountant, David has broad experience from
senior roles in the accountancy profession, and engineering and
distribution companies. Previously working as a finance project manager
David joined the company at the start of the M6 Toll construction and
has been responsible for the exemplary financial control of the project
throughout its operational development. He now has the responsibility of
12 finance staff to maintain and develop the financial reporting and
control processes.


PETER CLEAVER
Head of Tolling Operations

Peter joined MEL in September 2003 as a Toll Plaza Manager. He brings
extensive previous operational management experience from positions
within the Engineering Industry and Financial sector. Peter was promoted
to Tolling Operations Manager in November 2006 and is responsible for 67
members of staff, providing efficient and effective customer service and
throughput at the Toll Plazas.


KAREN LUCAS
HR Manager

Karen was appointed as Human Resources Manager in May 2007. In her
role, Karen will develop people processes and strategies that assist in
delivering business objectives and provide human resources support to
the business and line managers on all people related activities. Prior to
joining MEL, Karen was Human Resources Manager for Delphi Diesel
Aftermarket, a global Automotive Company.
