WELCOME TO LNVM SOCIETY GROUP OF INSTITUTES

If you have picked up a copy of this information letter you have chosen the right road to a bright future / career. I
believe that the course you choose should be the one which will help to prepare you for the competitive world of
work.

We are passing through an Industrial Revolution, where gold is being exchanged for machines. Every nation in the
world has accepted industrialization as the best means of national advancement and prosperity.

To meet the huge demand for knowledgeable, job oriented and qualified technical personnel to plan, execute and
maintain the various projects and industries, there is a great need for well trained engineers and technicians. A
wide variety of opportunities exist in the various fields of engineering viz Civil, Electrical, Mechanical,
Electronics, Automobile and Aeronautical Engineering are a few to mention.

The School of Aeronautics was established in 1992. Initially we started with correspondence course in
Aeronautical Engg., (A.M. Ae. S. I. Equivalent to B.E. Aeronautics). Then in 1994 we started Regular Course /
Part Time Preparatory Classes for the same. Management of the LNVM Society decided to start School of
Engineering and Technology in 1996 under which Regular/Part Time Preparatory Classes for Electronics and
Telecommunication Engineering Course (A.M.I.E.T.E. Equivalent to B.E. Electronics and Telecommunication)
were started. Both School of Aeronautics and School of Engineering & Technology are approved by Director
General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation Govt. of India, for providing Aircraft Maintenance
Engineering course (AME) in A/C Electrical and A/C Instrument System (Avionics). At present institute has
around 1780 students on its rolls in both correspondence and regular courses. We have students from almost all
states of India Beside this we have some students from Nepal and Dubai in our correspondence and regular
courses.

The basic objective of establishing LNVM Society is
 i) To meet an ever increasing demand for competent engineers and technocrats for executing various industrial
projects in private and public sectors in India and abroad.
ii) To disseminate the knowledge of Aeronautical Sciences, Aircraft Engineering and other engineering
       professional fields.

Towards this aim, therefore, a team of dedicated engineers, teachers came forward and put their whole hearted
efforts to evolve a system on an entirely different basis, away from the present

Laxmi Narain Verma Memorial Society Group of Institutes aim at imparting quality education in the fields of
engineering, aviation and computers.

1. AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEERING (AME) [AVIONICS SYSTEM]
(APPROVED BY DIRECTOR GENERAL OF CIVIL AVIATION)

WELL INFORMED MAN POWER IN FIELD OF AVIONICS
If we look back a decade or two, we will notice that avionics was just limited to a few black boxes for communication and
navigation installed on aircraft. But with passage of time avionics in field of aviation has undergone a tremendous change.
Integrated Digital Avionics as it is, referred to, has blossomed into a third dimension for aerospace vehicles first two being
airframe and engines. Any new advancement in electronics has tempted the A/C designer to add a new dimension to this
avionics package. As a result the avionics of today encompasses the aircraft flight control (fly by wire) also engine control
(fully automatic Digital Electronics control), the integrated flight and fire control, cockpit displays and even utilities
management in addition to communication and integrated navigation. Multiple roles are also being carried out in a truly
integrated manner through the use of common digital format for data. This enables avionics systems to share data from a bank
of common sensors and data links has permitted additional redundancies in hardware resulting to higher reliability and higher
flight safety. Thus multi role aircraft are available with more reliability due to increased role of electronics. This has led to
increase in cost of maintenance and manufacture of A/C. We know that avionics of today share 40% of the cost of military
A/C and almost 55% of air force budget.

The major escalation in cost of present day A/C is due to more advanced and developed avionics. Because of advancement in
electronics/Avionics we have multi role a/c these days. Even present day helicopter carry a more modern fire control radar and
digital avionics flight management computers. Some of Present day A/C have advanced auto pilots and common digital
automatic flight control and ground proximity warning system (GPWS). The stress these days is vastly on avionics updates
which improves performance. Head up display is a new growth area being used on light transport a/c (LTA). The market of
avionics is on the increase both in military and civil sectors. The new trend of increased role for avionics is definite to result in
increase share of avionics in the local market also.

The training and educational institutes are also updating their course coverage accordingly to deliver the trained manpower
and handling and maintenance of developed avionics system in the field of aviation. To fulfill the need of trained manpower in
the field of avionics the endeavor to this institute is to update the training programme to generate reasonable level of self-
sufficiency in field of avionics. Presently there are about 47 institutes approved by DGCA to train man power for acquiring
AME licence, out of these only seven are approved to train AMEs for avionic systems and ours happens to be the second to be
added to list of institutes giving training to AMEs in the field of avionics of aircraft of present days and first in northern
region.

                                                                                                                               3
In 40 institutes which are training the students in the field of Airframe and Engines, total number of students coming out in
this field are approximately 2400 per year, where as number of students coming out with avionics training are only around 420
per year and so they are in great demand in the industry due to short supply and more development of avionics industry.

ELIGIBILITY
The minimum qualification for admission to the course is a pass in
i. 10+2 (minimum 50% aggregate in Physic, Chemistry, Maths), pre-degree/intermediate or equivalent with Mathematics,
     Physics and Chemistry.
ii. Three year Diploma in Engineering (relevant field).
iii. G.C.E. (A) Sr. Cambridge/East Africa School Certificate (A) or equivalent with eligibility to pursue a degree course in
     Science in an Indian University.

SCOPE
Due to the open sky policy of the Govt. of India, this is the first time ever in India, when the numbers of airlines are on the
rise. Also the pre-existing airlines are increasing their fleet. It is important to mention here that within next 2 to 3 years’ time
around 200 more aircraft will be added to Indian Aviation Industry. Due to these factors the demand for A.M.Es is also
increasing.

After getting BAMEL the students will be absorbed in Airlines as maintenance engineer and will be the highest paid among
the engineers. AME has the authority to sign any Aircraft before flying, certifying that the aircraft is airworthy. The
placement record of our students who have cleared Double BAMEL is 100% at present.

RAJASTHAN VIDYAPEETH UNIVERSITY
KNOW YOUR UNIVERSITY

With the awakening of national consciousness in the early years of the last century, a few notable efforts were made in British
India to improve the system of education prevalent in India during that time. Gujrat Vidyapeeth, started by Mahatma Gandhi,
aimed at preparing youth to serve and uplift the rural masses; Shantiniketan tried to bring the cultures of the East and West

                                                                                                                           6
into Universal harmony; Jamia Milla tried to educate the Muslims in keeping with the needs of the main Stream of National
life; and the Gurukul Kangdi aimed at preserving the cultral heritage of the nation keeping with the requirements of the
modern age. Inspired by the same spirit Pandit Janardan Rai Nagar established ‘Rajasthan Vidyapeeth’ in 1937 to uplift the
down-trodden common man in the feudal state of Mewar. Started as a night Study Centre for the Elementary, secondary and
Advanced Courses in Hindi, our national language, Rajasthan Vidyapeeth has grown into a large complex of more than 50
institutions spread over several districts of Rajasthan.

Historically, Rajasthan has been a paradise for knowledge seekers, as it has a rich cultural heritage in the form of manuscripts,
historic documents, icons epigraph and monuments. Late Maishi Pandit Janardan Rai Nagar’s initiative and vision led him to
start the Prachin Sahitya Shodh Sansthan in 1941 to preserve, edit, translate and publish old manuscripts. Probably, it was a
unique Institute of its kind in Rajasthan, which as established for the conservation of cultural heritage.

After the historic event of the unification of Rajasthan, ‘Hindi Vidyapeeth’ added new dimensions to its basic objectives. It
became a leading Non-Government Organisation during the course of its journey and the founder Pandit Janardan Rai Nagar
renamed it as Rajasthan Vidyapeeth.

Early sixties proved to be the landmark in the history of Rajasthan Vidyapeeth when it decided to meet the challenges, which
started springing up after independence. The first Prime Minister had deep faith in democracy and he decided to spread the
message of sharing responsibilities at the grass-root level. As a result the Panchayati Raj institutions came into existence.
Rajasthan Vidyapeeth also decided to join hands with the GOI to share this responsibility and established Community Centres
Department and Janta College during the Second Five-year plan. The objective was to provide benefits to the people of remote
villages. It was the beginning of the full-fledged Institute of Adult & Continuing Education. During this period, Vidyapeeth
started the new unit, which is called JANPAD, with the objective of propagating the knowledge of day-to-day local and
national affairs for the urban society through black-board / broadcast service mass communication being the aim.

With the dawn of independence, there was a dire need to provide opportunities for higher education to the underprivileged
section of the society, specially in the Tribal belt. The Evening College (Shramjeevi College) was the outcome of this idea.
The basic objective of establishing the Evening (Shramjeevi) College was to admit the students who worked during day-hours
and wanted to educate themselves for better job opportunities. During this period Rajasthan was also emerging as a potential
state of Union Government of the India. Availability of trained professionals for industry / business was the urgent need of the
time.

Keeping this in view Vidyapeeth initiated a Postgraduate course in the discipline of Social Work (MSW). Today, a large
number of its alumni are working in various positions in Personnel and Management field throughout the country.

A number of other institutes likes Higher Secondary School, Secondary School, Post-basic School and the Centre for Fine Arts
were also started by Vidyapeeth to provide education to all the sections of the society. The College of Teachers’ Training was
another major event on the path of progress of Vidyapeeth during the seventies.

A special features of Rajasthan Vidyapeeth administration is what we call the ‘Janatantriaya Shilanyas’ (Democratic
Foundation), i.e. its democratic way of life and work. Vidyapeeth is organized and run entirely by its workers and its basic
philosophy is to provide.

Opportunity of participation to each worker in the decision making process through various constituent bodies. The entire
administration is divided into three-spheres has its own elected or nominated leader and body for the management of its
affairs.

The prestige enjoyed by it during all these years is reflected in the fact that eminent personalities like Late Shri Bhopal Singh,
Maharana of Mewar, Dr. Karan Singh of Kashmir, Shriyut Srimannarian, Mahapandit Shri Rahul Sankrityanan, etc. have
graced the chair of Chancellor of Rajasthan Vidyapeeth. The eminent persons, who visited Vidyapeeth, include Pandit Jawahar
Lal Nehru, Jai Prakash Narain, Vinoba Bhave, Mrs. Indira Gandhi, Dr. Rajendra Prasad and Dr. Radha Krishnan. Col. Tod
completed his historic book ‘ Annals and Antiquities of Rajputana’ during his stay in the campus of this institution. The year
1987 was the landmark in the history of Vidyapeeth when the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of
India and the University Grants Commission granted it the status of a deemed-to-be-University. Since then, a number of

                                                                                                                            7
different types of courses, including professional ones, for the benefit of the society, have been launched. Its guiding
objectives have invariably been to provide research based qualitative education to community through preservation and
 conservation of our socio-cultural values.

The institution is not only spreading its wings of education in the country itself but has also entered into the area of
international studies through academic exchange of its students and faculty members of Slippery Rock University a prestigious
University of USA. This is a step forward to the academic excellence and towards providing opportunity to the students and
 teachers of Rajasthan Vidyapeeth.
