1.    To accept apologies for absence and to receive Declarations of Interest in items on the agenda.
2.    To confirm the minutes of the meeting held on Wednesday 3 November 2004.
3.    To report matters arising from the minutes not on the agenda - for information only.
4.    To receive crime figures as reported at the Area Forum meeting.
5.    To receive a report from Thurgoland CIP Project.
6.    To receive a report from the Clerk concerning the progress on items in Appendix A.
7.    To receive a report and update from Councillor Rowley on behalf of the Parish Paths Group.
8.    To receive a report on the progress of Thurgoland Action from Councillor Taberner.
9.    To receive details of the provision of Christmas Tree lights from Councillor Rose.
10.   To receive a report from Councillor Berry concerning the water pump at Huthwaite Lane.
11.   To receive a report from the Clerk concerning the appointment of the Parish Council representative
      on the School Governors at Thurgoland School.
12.   To receive a report from the Parish Clerk concerning the provision of a Parish Plan.
13.   To receive a report concerning Thurgoland History Group and to discuss the provision of future
      funding for the group if necessary.
14.   To discuss the problems of cars parking on Cote Lane to access the Trans Pennine Trail.
15.   To discuss the subject of recycling – placed on the agenda by Councillor Dalton.
16.   To agree a budget for the financial year 2005/2006 – placed on the agenda by the Clerk.
17.   To receive items for inclusion in the Parish Newsletter for January 2005
18.   To receive a reply from Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council concerning noise pollution at
      Pear Tree Farm.
19.   To receive a reply from Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council concerning the provision of a
      litter bin at the bus stop at Cote Lane/Huthwaite Lane.
20.   To receive a reply from Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council concerning Chapel Walk.
21.   To receive a reply from Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council concerning the damaged footway at
      Roper Lane/Fire Tree.
22.   To receive a reply from Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council concerning the damaged footway at
      Pilatus on Cote Lane.
23.   To receive a reply from Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council concerning the pavement from Hand
      Lane to Pog Lane, Crane Moor.
24.   To receive an invitation to the Barnsley Environmental Forum.
25.   To receive a request from Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council concerning the Rights of Way
      Improvement Plans and Open Access.
26.   To receive an invitation to the Civic Carol Service at St Mary’s Church, Barnsley
27.   To receive information concerning the proposed Prohibition of Alcohol Consumption in Designated
      Places in relation to Thurgoland (previously advised to all Councillors)
28.   To receive an invitation to a ‘Councillor Skills’ Seminar from Yorkshire Local Councils
      Assoications.
29.   To receive a report from the Clerk concerning the attendance of Mr Gibbons from the Highways
      Department at a future Parish Council meeting.
30.   To adjourn the business of the Parish Council for a ten-minute period in order that members of
      the public can bring items to the attention of the Parish Council.
31.   To receive and make comment the following Planning Applications received since the last meeting
      i)      Erection of two storey side extension, verandah and detached stable/garage building
              Leamington, Coates Lane, Silkstone Common.
      ii)     Erection of first floor side extension to dwelling.
              Rivermill Farm, Old Mill Lane, Thurgoland
      iii)    Fell sycamore T15 and crown lift sycamore T14 within TPO 15/1980
              The Old Barn, Copster Lane, Oxspring
      iv)     Erection of side-attached garage extension to dwelling
              Huthwaite Snug Cottage, Huthwaite Lane, Thurgoland
32.   To receive any Planning Applications received since this agenda was produced.
33.   To receive information concerning approved/declined Planning Applications as notified since the
      last meeting.
34.   To receive correspondence concerning Planning Applications from Mr Ball of Thurgoland
35.   To receive any newsletters/circulars received since the last meeting : for information only.
36.   To agree payment in accordance with the Parish Council budget as notified in the attached report.
37.   To be notified of any matters to be placed on the agenda of the next meeting of the Parish Council.
38.   To confirm that the next meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Wednesday 5 January 2005 at
              7.00 p.m. at Crane Moor Chapel, Crane Moor.
