Applying for Spring and Summer Sessions 2011:
Registration for Spring and Summer sessions 2011 begins Monday, February 7th, 2011.

If you are registered in university studies at Concordia for the Winter Semester 2011, a separate application is not required:

    •    Pay application fee if application.
    •    Pay the Registration Deposit.
    •    Add Spring and Summer Sessions courses to your schedule through the Registrar’s Office.

If you are a former student (absent from Concordia for one or more semesters):
     • Complete an Application, available online at http://www.concordia.ab.ca/prospective or from the Registrar’s Office.
          On the Application, indicate that you are a Returning Student.
     • Pay the Registration Deposit.

If you are new to university studies at Concordia:
     • Complete an Application, available online at http://www.concordia.ab.ca/prospective or from the Registrar’s Office. On the
          Application, indicate that you are an Open Studies Student.
     • If applicable, provide the Registrar’s Office with official transcripts to demonstrate that you have completed the prerequisites
          for the course(s) in which you wish to register.
     • Applicants studying in Canada on a study permit (student visa) must normally present a minimum Test of English as a Foreign
          Language (TOEFL) CBT score of 213 (or an iBT score of 80). See the Concordia Calendar, for English Language Requirements.
     • Pay the Registration Deposit.

If you are a Visiting Student from another university or college:
     • Apply to Concordia as described above for new students.

If you are an International Student, please note that international student fees and deposits apply to Spring and Summer Sessions.
Medical Insurance is also required. See the current Concordia Calendar for details.

To apply to a degree program in Arts, Management, or Science for the academic year 2011-2012:
    • Apply online at http://www.concordia.ab.ca/prospective or contact the Admissions and Financial Aid Office 780. 479.9220 or
         e-mail admits@concordia.ab.ca for an Admission Guide and Application.
If you were Required to Withdraw from any university or college within the past 12 calendar months, you are not eligible to apply to
Concordia. Please see the current Concordia Calendar for details.

COURSE LOAD

The majority of courses in Spring and Summer Sessions are scheduled each day of the week, from Monday to Friday. Due to the intense
nature of these sessions, students may take a maximum of 4.5 credits per term and a maximum of 6 credits per session.

REGISTRATION DEPOSIT and FEE PAYMENT

The Registration Deposit for Spring and Summer is $200.00 per course and is non-refundable. Deposit information for international
students, please see the current Concordia Calendar. Payment can be made in n person at Student Accounts by cash, cheque, bank draft,
debit card, MasterCard, VISA, or American Express or On line, in person, using ATM or telephone banking at most major banks and credit
unions in Canada. Make sure to choose Concordia University College of Alberta (not Concordia University in Montreal). Reference your
student ID number as your account number. Contact Student Accounts in Student and Enrolment Services HA 120, (780) 479-9207 or e-
mail studentaccts@concordia.ab.ca . (Concordia reserves the right to refuse payments made by cheque.)

FIRST DAY OF CLASS

Come early on the first day of class and sign your Confirmation Schedule. The room number of your classroom will be on your copy.

CONCORDIA TRANSCRIPTS

Transcripts are available no earlier than ten business days following the final examination of each term. To order transcripts, use online
Services for Students at www.concordia.ab.ca or submit a Transcript Request Form to the Registrar’s Office.
