 JOB SUMMARY: Provides food and beverage service to guests.        The season is approximately
 mid-May through Mid-September in Denali National Park
 •   Greets customers as they arrive and depart
 •   Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service
 •   Records accurate food and beverage orders
 •   Relays order to kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and service bar
 •   Observes customers’ to respond to additional requests and to determine when meal has been
 •   Sets and maintains buffet lines
 •   Ladle soup, toss salad, portion pies and desserts, and brew coffee, etc.
 •   Cleans and wipes tables and chairs and resets tables and side stations
 •   Restocks glassware, silverware, and napkins
 •   Vacuums, sweeps and mops dining room floors
 •   May work split shifts
 •   Good cash handling skills
 •   Must possess positive attitude
 •   Provide excellent customer care including greeting guests with a smile
 •   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 •   Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
 •   Ability to return to the job site on a recall status.
 •   Ability to work independently and effectively with a team.

•   Must be at least 21 years of age
•   Musty have current TAMS or TIPS certification to serve alcohol
The majority of the work is performed in a professional office setting with a wide variety of people in
differing functions, personalities and abilities.
Requires living and working in remote workspaces for extended periods of time. Exposure to bus
transportation to camp and return. Exposure to day or night shifts. An individual will be required to
work the majority of hours in a general office environment, and will need to be able to quickly
respond to a change in work demands. Occasional light lifting (1-25 lbs) is required. [Reasonable
