―Two African-American men who venture out on a motorcycle odyssey,
leaving the violence of the streets behind. Fresh from a stint in jail, ex-gang

much of the town in a stranglehold, and when Jack draws the attentions of

―In his early 30s, the beer-bellied Dex has things figured out. He's widely
read in philosophy, he's studied Steve McQueen the prototypical cool
American hero, and he's distilled Buddhism and Taoism into three laws that

2002 Lone Hero Canadian made for HBO Lou Diamond Phillips, Sean
                   Patrick Flaner
―Standard story of a biker gang taking over a town. The story starts with
Phillips and a cohort robbing a store and injuring a salesperson. The bikers
tell everyone in the store that if any one tells who committed the crime, the
gang will take revenge on them and their families. Flanery nonetheless
proceeds to arrest them with a gun filled with blanks when he next sees
them. The gang breaks their leader out of jail, killing the policemen in the
process.‖ Imdb.com This is a modern, I think well done, telling of the old formula of biker
gang and justice. Phillips is more real and menacing then those in past as there is none of the
jive hippy talk.

2003 June ‗04 Grand Theft Parsons ―There are times when it's right and
proper to simply bury the dead. This is not one of those times... Gram
Parsons was one of the most influential musicians of his time; a bitter,

overdosed on morphine and tequila in 1973. And from his dying came a
story. A story from deep within folklore; a story of friendship, honour and
adventure; a story so extraordinary that if it didn't really happen, no one

movie was going for the loneliness of being a racer. Lots of road trip, not

2003 Fighting Irish ―What do you get when you mix a tough Irish kid with a topless bar, a

guns, the police, the FBI, sleep deprivation and an inordinate amount of pride? The answer is
Fighting Irish. Based on a true story Fighting Irish is an action/drama about one man and his

1968 Apr Savages From Hell aka Big Enough and Old Enough
―When the leader of a vicious motorcycle gang finds a farm worker's son
flirting with his woman, he beats the boy senseless, then kidnaps the farm
worker's daughter.‖ IMDb HIt is the biker that has the hots for the daughter
cuses the conflict with son. Has migrant workers, beach parties, and swamp
buggy races from Naples. Thought had that Florida look. Lists the "Outlaws
MC" in credits but no patchs spotted. Actually not a bad plot regardless of
the hokness. Something Weird DVD includes a 1960s Cypress Gardens
documentary "the Greatest Show on Water".

1968 May The Savage Seven Robert Walker Jr., Adam Roarke
―Mad bikers storm through an Indian reservation just to have a good ol' time.‖
              IMDb.
"This violent motorcycle gang drama finds the outlaws riding onto an Indian
reservation to take over. A rival gang has other ideas. There are few likeable
characters in this feature, the possible exception being Johnnie (Walker), and
he is a convicted thief. Rock-guitar legend Duane Eddy plays off the seven,
while Penny Marshall makes an early big screen appearance. a modern-day
cowboys and Indians tale, only instead of horses, the outlaws ride motorcycles."

1968 May The Mini-Skirt Mob Ross Hagan, Harry Dean Stanton
―Driven by jealousy, the jilted leader of a female motorcycle gang instigates
a sadistic reign of terror against her ex-lover and his new bride‖ IMDb.
Can‘t believe this is in the Big Book of Biker Flicks. Guess it was the being
terrorized by people on bikes. Rodeo cowboys and mini-skirt ―go-go girls‖
on Triumphs and Hondas, not true bikers - so much for ―you meet the nicest
people on a Honda‖ slogan .

1968 May She-Devils on Wheels
―An all-female motorcycle gang, called 'The Maneaters' hold motorcycle
races, as well as terrorize the residents of a small Florida town, and clash off
against an all-male rival gang of hot-riders.‖ IMDb. This is so hokey you
have to love it as the girls race to pick their studs. Has a big hot mama biker.

1968 June Angels From Hell Jack Starrett
―A destructive ex-motorcycle gang leader comes home from Vietnam to
resume his life. His desire to form a powerful gang has the police running
scared. But, will he succeed...‖ IMDb.
Not bad of a movie. The police as almost as bad as the bikers. Does have
Bud Atlkins (did the famous Great Escape jump among other films) doing
some stunts as a biker they chase.

1968 June The Girl on a Motorcycle Aka La Motocyclette (France) Naked
Under Leather (USA) (reissue title) Alain Delon, Marianne Faithful

her lover, and crashes to her death while indulging in sexual reverie.‖ IMDb.

him $10,000. Angel takes the offer, although it means he and his girlfriend
must now go on the run from cyclists looking for revenge.‖ IMDb. Biker
tries to go straight. Mild biker action, only two rapes and one dead biker.
Good change of pace from the normal formula. This was William Smith‘s
first film in long run of biker films.

Anchor. The gang goes to a diner in the middle of nowhere in the
California desert where they begin to terrorize ...‖ IMDb. For a movie shot
in ten days, this Al Adamson classic has fairly good production, good
opening credits, and decent acting. I can see why some call it the Citizen
Kane of Biker Movies (but then I never thought Citizen Kane deserved to
be the number one AFI film). It is a mild gore with body count at 15.

1969 Aug Wild Wheels Robert Dix, Casey Kasem
―A group of surfers use dune buggies to protect their beach

bikers off guard during a drunken orgy. Graphic violence
ensues. Don Epperson, Robert Dix, Casey Kasem and Terry
Stafford are the more memorable names in this forgettable film which originally had an X-
rating, but was later edited down to an R. allmovie.com

"Two sisters discover the joys of sex, rock music and narcotics when a
biker gang comes to town in this drama." allmovie.com

1969 Sept The Cycle Savages Bruce Dern, Casy Kasem
―The leader of a biker gang takes exception to an artist sketching them, so
he makes plans to crush the artist's hands.‖ IMDb.com Sex, drugs. Rape,
and crime like in so many of this genre. Produced by Casy Kasem with
cameo as the gang leader‘s pimp brother.

1969 Sept Hell’s Angels ’69 Sonny Barger, Tom Stern, Jeremy Slate
―Two brothers have a plan on how to rob the Ceasar's Palace in Las Vegas.
They join a motorcycle gang and while the others are drinking and
partying outside of town, they change their clothes and head off to rob the
casino.‖ IMDb.com. I‘d have to say this is the Ocean’s Eleven of biker
films. Actuality, a pretty good story and production, and the bikers, in this
case the Oakland Hell‘s Angels, are not the bad guys.

1969 Sept Naked Angels
―Mother has just got out of prison and wants to get revenge on the biker
gang that put him there. He teams up with his old gang "The Angels" ...‖

From the cover and poster art I should have know this was pure drive-in
crap. So good riding scences and nude babes.

1969-TV Nov The Ballad of Andy Crocker Lee Majors, Joey

the fast paced world of motorcycle racing‖ IMDb - The title refers to
the euphoric pleasures of motorcycle racing, a sport that is exploited
to the breaking point in this film. Reckless racer Bill Williams and
his cycle-designer buddy Steve Flagg come to blows over the lovely
