									                   Osteoporosis Recommendations
The 3 main reasons for osteoporosis is (1) An acidic diet, (2) A lack of minerals and
hormones and (3) Acidic speech. We don’t realize how close to death we come by eating
an acidic diet (that is one rich in things other than raw fruits and vegetables.) Our bodies
must maintain a blood ph of 7.4. Most of us are not even close to this. But the reason we
don’t instantly die is because our bodies will leach the needed calcium (which is alkaline)
right out of our bones and teeth to correct an acid condition.

Women are at greater risk for osteoporosis because of the hormonal changes that take
place at menopause. Maca root is a good endocrine modulator or adaptogen. It is high in
calcium (the good kind). There are other foods and herbs that will help rebuild bone mass
like Swiss Chard which is high in Vitamin K, calcium and magnesium.

Good sources of easy to assimilate calcium are buckwheat, buttermilk, cheese, dandelion
greens, flounder, kefir, kelp, molasses, nuts and seeds, oats, seaweed, tofu, most
vegetables, wheat germ, whole-wheat products and yogurt. Broccoli, kale, turnip greens,
collard greens, sardines and salmon are good sources of calcium+.

Avoid phosphate-containing drinks and foods such as soft drinks and high-protein animal
foods, and alcohol. Also avoid smoking, sugar, and salt.

   1. First thing in the morning take 2 teaspoons of Maca Root powder in 8 oz. of
      distilled water. Stir well before drinking. Then do this again just before bedtime.
   2. Every day have a smoothie using 4 black plums, 3 leaves of Swiss chard and 1
   3. Have a salad of cut up leaves of Swiss Chard, using seaweeds like kelp or dulse,
      and black sesame seeds (munch these seeds throughout the day). All high in the
      minerals you need for bone growth.
   4. Drink 1 cup of Pumpkin Seed Milk each day. This drink has the highest zinc
      content of any food and is full of calcium, magnesium and trace minerals which
      you need to build bones.
   5. Other things that will help are juices. The following different combinations of
      juices are recommendations for osteoporosis:
      Carrot Juice – 16 oz.
      Carrot Juice – 10 oz. with Spinach juice 6 oz.
      Carrot-10 oz., Dandelion 3 oz, Turnip 3 oz. Juice
      Carrot 10 oz., Beet 3 oz, Cucumber 3 oz. Juice
      Carrot 10 oz., Celery 3 oz., Spinach 3 oz. Juice

Indomethacin, ibuprofen, and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs used for pain
relief weaken the hip joints. Studies have shown that caffeine is linked to calcium loss. A
study conducted by the Journal of Clinical Nutrition reports that women who are
vegetarians have less bone loss (around 7%), while women who consume meat have bone
loss of 35%. GO RAW!
Acidic speech is a big reason some people get osteoporosis. Envy and jealousy bring
about this same condition as the scripture says: Pro 14:30, “A healthy heart is life to the
body, But envy is rottenness to the bones.” Also a stricken, broken or wounded spirit
dries the bones. Pro 17:22, “A rejoicing heart causes good healing, But a stricken
spirit dries the bones.”
A woman who shames her husband or a husband who shames his wife will cause
rottenness in the bones of her/his spouse. (This includes any kind of inward problems of
the bones.) Pro 12:4, “ A capable wife is the crown of her husband, But one causing
shame is like rottenness in his bones.”
Pride, negative evil speaking, cursing others, blaming others, accusing others (pointing
the finger), speaking unrighteousness, and not helping the hungry or afflicted person will
also cause your bones to be weak, especially with osteoporosis. Is 58:9-11, Prov. 15:30,
16:24, 38:3, 3:7-8.

The Cure for these things obviously is not to do the above things, but you will need to
seek Father to overcome bad habits in the above areas. The scripture’s cure for these
things are as follows:

Prov. 15:30, “The light of the eyes (keep joy in your heart) rejoices the heart, A
good report gives marrow to the bones.”
Prov. 16:24, “Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweet to the being, and healing
to the bones.”
Prov. 3:7, “Do not be wise in your own eyes1; Fear ‫ יהוה‬and turn away from

Pro 3:8, “It is healing to your navel, And moistening to your bones.”
Isa 58:9-11, “Then, when you call, ‫ יהוה‬would answer; when you cry, He would say,
„Here I am.‟ “If you take away the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the
finger, and the speaking of unrighteousness, 10 if you extend your being to
the hungry and satisfy the afflicted being, then your light shall dawn in the
darkness, and your darkness be as noon. (This remedy will actually take depression
away from you and you will have a brightness in your inner being.) 11 “Then ‫ יהוה‬would
guide you continually, and satisfy your being in drought, and strengthen your
bones. And you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose
waters do not fail.”
