What is the Fast‐Track Apprenticeships (FTA)
Program
The FTA Program supports competency‐based training models to
deliver qualifications to industry standards in shorter timeframes
and allows Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) to implement

systemic change and develop sustainable models that can be
applied in other apprenticeship areas within their institutions and
within the targeted industry area.
FTA Program targets skill shortages in the traditional trades
identified in the National and Regional Skills Needs Lists.

There are two elements of FTA funding available:

RTOs report that funding under the Program has allowed them to:

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for funding RTOs must have scope to deliver the
apprenticeship/s for which they are applying to fast‐track.
RTOs need to comprehensively address the following selection
criteria:
