2007 CANADIAN U23 ROWING TEAM SELECTION NOTICE
Rowing Canada Aviron is pleased to announce the following team to represent Canada
at the 2007 FISA World Rowing Under 23 Championships in Strathclyde, Scotland.

   •   The MENS 8+ and the LIGHTWEIGHT MEN’S 4- will also represent Canada at
       the Rowing World Cup Regatta in Lucerne, Switzerland.

EVENT TIMELINES

The World Rowing Under 23 Championships takes place in Strathclyde County Park,
just outside of Glasgow, Scotland. The regatta begins with heats on July 26th and
finishes with finals on July 29th. Athletes depart from Canada on July 15th for a training
camp in Tilburg, The Netherlands, prior to relocating to Strathclyde on June 23rd and
arrive back in Canada on July 30th. Athletes going to the Lucerne World Cup will depart
on July 10th to compete on July 13th to 15th then meet up with the team in The
Netherlands.

FORMAL APPEAL – RCA PROCEDURE

If an athlete wishes to file an appeal to RCA in regards to the Pan Am Games
selections, the following link can be used for more information on the RCA Appeal
Policy and Procedure. Please note the timelines for requesting a review of decision,
and for filing an appeal.

PAYMENT

Final payment is now due to the Jarrett Poitras at the Rowing Canada office in Victoria
or Michelle Darvill at the London Training Centre. Total assessment for the event is
$2,600.00 and for athletes also attending the Lucerne World Cup the assessment is
$3,400.00
