							 The Cobar Branch of the AusIMM invites you
                     to
        Annual General Meeting, “Garrulous Geos”
                  & End of Year BBQ
    An evening of Geological talks from members of the Cobar Mining and
Exploration community. This will be preceded by the AGM of the Cobar Branch
                               of the AusIMM.
                 Speakers and Topics for the evening are:
   •    Dick Glen, NSW Geological Survey – Thompson – Lachlan Seismic Units
   •    Eliseo Apaza, CSA Mine – “Exploring Data at CSA Mine”
   •    Martin Lenard, CCR – “The Wonawinta Silver Project”
   •    Carl Clark, Straits Resources – “Ore Deposit Geology of the Tritton Mine”.
   •    Manfred Wimberger / Barry Taylor, PGM – “Perseverance – A new Chapter at Peak”
 These talks will be followed by an End of Year BBQ at the Golfie BBQ Area. This BBQ will
be open to all AusIMM Members, associated Industry Personnel, their Partners and Children.
                            Refreshments and BBQ food provided
Date: Friday 13 November, 2009
Time: 5:00 pm for 5:15 pm start. The AGM will take 10 minutes. It’s expected that the
      talks will conclude by 7:30 pm followed by the BBQ and refreshments.
Place: Function Room 2, Cobar Bowling and Golf Club.
Cost: Nil
       All welcome, you don’t have to be a member of the AusIMM. However, AusIMM
                         membership is required to vote in the AGM.
   The Committee requests that children attend the BBQ after the talks have concluded.
For the AusIMM Members that have ordered clothing, it will be dispensed at this function.
           Please bring along any required payments to avoid disappointment.
